This was just what we were looking for. A funky VW Vanagon that comfortably slept two adults and two kids (in the top bunk). The van got us around central VT without any glitches, though it doesn't make it up hills too quickly (as expected and part of the charm!). For those who like things more Spartan, the van may be a bit overcrowded with gadgets. But, on the plus side, everything you can think of is at your fingertips (literally) from a coffee grinder to a propane grill. The owners were great - friendly, laid back and really helpful. We'd definitely rent it again - a really memorable experience overall.
It was a really great experience meeting and hosting Dana and her family. They kept me updated on their arrival time. They were extremely polite and friendly. They were zero hassle, and left the apartment just as they had found it. It was a pleasure to meet and host them.
Dana and her husband were awesome guests! My place was left the same way ,before they checked in. They are super friendly and easy going. I would let them stay over anytime!
Dana and part of her family came to stay at our apartment . And the moment her husband opened the door and said to me, "Honey, were home!", I liked them just fine! Warm, friendly and willing to jump on public transit in a big city! They were a joy to host, and welcome back anytime.
Of course, they were tidy and all that important boring stuff, too.
James was a fantastic guest. Very communicative and respectful, and interesting to chat with. Glad to have had him in SF!
