I am a 29 year old tattoo artist originally from Massachusetts, but have been living in Seattle for the last three years. I am three years into tattooing, so I'm finally starting to make enough money to travel. As far as work goes, I tattoo a large female clientele and end up drawing many birds and flowers. My biggest influences artistically are Audubon and Walton Ford, I think their paintings are classic and so well done, and I strive to create things that beautiful. Previous to tattooing I was a veterinary radiology technician (I love animals) and a full time (broke) art school student. I have yet to travel outside of the continent, but I'm excited to do so as soon as possible!
I'm a very respectful house guest and currently live with 5 other people, so I think I've gotten the whole "be mindful of others" idea down. I'm pretty quiet by nature, but I enjoy good conversation and have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor... The Larry David tattoo on my arm is a good indication of that. I'm always looking for new restaurants to eat at and new food to try, although the strange and ugly creature they call a "geoduck" might be something I'll never try.
I read as much as I can in my spare time, and my favorite books/stories include Metamorphosis, The Jungle, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, Water For Elephants, Shutter Island (the book was much better than the movie), You Don't Know Me But You Don't Like Me, among others.
