nous avons passe un tres agreable sejour, l'appartement etait parfait pour 4 personnes et tres bien situé dans un quartier vivant et sympa!
The location was good but that's about it. When we went to bed at night we found the bed sheets were dirty and stain on them. We could not sleep whole night because the blankets were old and it was poking. The apt was on ground floor and it is by a street. You will hear car passing all night. The apt is very soggy and dark. Moreover most of the furniture is pretty old and you will constantly fear if anything breaks. They don't have microwave and tv. The bedroom is very small and it does not have any door for privacy. When we complained about bedsheets they changed it eventually but the impression of the apartment never felt good. The bathroom was also strange. There was no boundary or curtains between the shower and toilet. So if u take shower the toilet gets wet and dirty.
Great value for an amazing space. Situated in an area close to most main attractions as well as the termini station. The kind host pointed us in the direction of a fantastic ice cream and also pizza place down the road. 10/10
Great place and great location, even better than the photos. Antonia was very kind and helped us get settled in nicely.
A delightful host and quirky, character filled, fun place in the heart of Rome. Easy walking distance to the wealth of attractions of central Rome. Antonia communicated well before we arrived and gave us some great tips (thanks we loved the Pasolini exhibition and Nat Geo photos at the pasolini Palazzo delle Esposizion. Grazie mille!
Very nice appartment, very charming and confortable with a lot of character. Stayed there with my 2 kids, 12 and 13 years old, they loved it, we felt like being at home. Very well located in nice surroundings, close to the station, very close to nice restaurants and a special gelateria, close to supermarkets open even on week ends until 8 to 9.00 pm. Very practical to visit the city too, 5-10 minutes walk to the Colosseo, we visited the city only walking, upto the Vatican, Borghese Garden, Janicule, Trastevere, Terme di Caracalla, Pantheon, etc. Special thanks to Michaele who waited for us until 9.30 pm because our fly was delayed coming in, he was very very friendly and gave us very helpful tips on the whereabouts.
We loved our stay at Antonia's quaint apartment. So full of art and life we almost didn't want to leave to tour. Great location and we felt nothing but safe and comfortable.
Great experience in Antonia's appartment. She's a great host and will give you plenty of adresses, enoteca, trattoria, in Monti's quarter. It was a little bit noisy Saturday's evening but in general we slept well. The appartement is very central and it possible to do everything on foot. We enjoyed our stay in Antonia's appartement et could advise you this adress.
Our stay at Antonia & Michele's was wonderful.
They have a lovely apartment right in the heart of Rome - in Monti, which is Rome's grooviest neighbourhood on so many counts: everything's a walk from there... museums, churches, cool cafes, pizzerias and Rome's best-kept little secret: La Piadineria. Yum!
The Colosseum's a short walk away (2 mn), so is Termini - the main train station (10 mn), as well as San Pietro in Vincoli - the home of Michelangelo's statue of Moses (5 mn). A metro station (Metro (email hidden)), bakeries and groceries are a short walk away too.
The best thing about Monti is that it isn't over-run with tourists unlike areas like Trastevere (so far so good, but things are beginning to change). Here, you see more locals in the bars and piazzas. So in Monti, you do as the Romans do, literally :).
We highly recommend the restaurant Ai Tre Scalini on Via Panisperna - 5 min away.
Michele was very helpful and friendly. We were 3 of us and we had a good experience all through. The apartment is charming and the hosts have a great attitude.
We'd definitely stay there again.
