HI I m Luca,
I am form Florence, Italy. I am a high-school teacher and I am a father of 2 fantastic girls!
Luca was good to communicate with us even though he was out of Italy. The friend he had show us a round was very fast to respond to emails and had perfect English (totally bilingual). His place is very nicely furnished and he even got a fan for us bc we'd not slept well in other places without one. His place is a bit far if you're just walking, but he does have bikes. The first day the bikes were a bit flat and we didn't know where the pump was, but the second day they were amazing! A very fun way to see Florence. All in all-a pretty great place.
Luca was very friendly and knowledgable. He made us feel welcome with maps to attractions, dinner recommendations and he booked an attraction for us so we didnt miss out. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly.
We were really satisfied during out stay in Florence. Luca was very helpful with everything. When we first arrived he made pasta for us and then recommended us various places to see in Florence during our limited time in the city. Borrowing his bikes was great as well, there's less than 10 min with a bike to get to Duomo. It also gives you an opportunity to explore the city on your own and maybe get away from the crowds. On our last day he made us a detailed map which villages to drive through on our road trip around Tuscany to see the beautiful landscape instead of just using the highway. The place is great as well, same as on the photos. We would definitely recommend staying at Luca's!
Luca was a very energetic and helpful host! The room was cozy and comfortable! At a great location far enough away from the center but close enough to access (especially with the bikes!!!!)
Luca was a very warm host, and my friend and I really enjoyed staying in his room. He clearly described everything at check-in and showed us on a map the best way to get into the city, as well as his suggestions on places to go. His home is located in a nice residential area of Florence, and it was so generous of him to lend us bikes to ride into the city. Biking down the streets and through the piazzas was one of our best memories. Thank you Luca!
*Though it's not listed, this place has wifi!*
Luca was such a friendly and pleasant person. He welcomed me when I arrived, really showed me around the house, even made me coffee! It was my second time with airbnb but it was so perfect! Luca really know the city and the scenery we, he has a lot of good recommendations, including the magnificient Forte di Belvedere. It was quiet and there were very few tourists. It even was my local friend's first time there, and we both loved it.
Florence is steaming in the summer, and biking in the breeze definitely helped to cool me down. Although, it could be tiring bringing it back after you've biked all day. Make sure you bring it back and lock it in a safe place.
The room was clean, and the bed was dine. Let's be honest, if people want to sleep on the most comfortable bed, they wouldn't be traveling. The bed is exacrly as described, not hotel quality, but you'd be able to fall asleep in seconds after seeing florence all day.
In general, if it is your first time in Florence, you can't get a better experience than staying with Luca!
Had a wonderful time in Florence thanks to Luca. Gave thoughtful recommendations and the bikes were so fun! A definite highlight of our trip to Italy, we didn't stop talking about how we missed them!
Thank you Luca, we had a really lovely time!
Luca's place was perfect for my 1.5 days in Florence. The bicycles provided lent to a memorable experience. The room itself was exactly like the photos. Luca was inviting and accommodating, ensuring he explained everything about the flat and how to navigate Florence. I found the kitchen area a bit untidy, but the rest of the space was very clean and we appreciated the use of the kitchen. I would easily stay with Luca again! As far as location, I felt this was perfect for me or for anyone who wants easy access to the core of Florence, but still appreciates the quiet of being just outside that area.
A very quiet, green neighborhood. A bit challenging to get to on tired feet, but manageable. Comfortable, firm bed. Very, very squeaky frame though, so it might wake you up whenever you turn over. Bike available for those who like to bike, and it's a very bike-able area. That's a very nice offering. Nothing particularly noteworthy for better or worse. You'll pay the Italian room tax directly to the host.
He is really kind and funny!:)
House is very comfortable and clean!
I wanna go back:)
It is a very nice guest.
