Rita has a lovely house on a beautiful block, walking distance to the main town shops. The bedroom setup was very private with two guest bedrooms sharing a bathroom downstairs with Rita living upstairs. She was totally cool with my using the kitchen, living room and porch, and didn't mind me leaving my bags at her place after checking out until I caught my evening train. A great Airbnb setup!
We enjoyed our stay at Ritas house.
Highly recommended. Everything was very well, thanks!
My friend and I had such a lovely stay here and Rita made us feel really at home. The house is really nice and very convenient for getting to the town and the beach, it also has a cute garden which was perfect for some evening drinks. Rita gave us lots of great recommendations of where to go and couldn't have been more helpful. I'd definitely recommend a stay here!
rita was great. while i didn't get much time with her because of my late arrival, she was accomodating, kind, and helpful. her dog is an absolute charmer. i wish i could've stayed longer -- thank you so much, again!
Rita was so lovely to stay with... she made me feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble, which allowed me to feel right at home. Her home is delightful; clean, comfortable, bright and cozy and tucked down a beautiful street close to everything and near the gorgeous library. Her dog was so friendly, it was as if I had met up with an old pal. Rita became a friend immediately and I would have no hesitation in recommending her rooms to anyone. Hope to see you again Rita and thank you.
Rita was such a sweet and generous host. She didn't mind that my boyfriend and I had to arrive at 10pm at night because of our schedules. She also gave us great tips on things to do around the area and even looked after our 4 month old puppy when we wanted to venture out to dinner together or on some other excursion. The place was very neat and clean and her dog Kells was such a friendly dog. Our puppy Oliver and him played for hours!! I highly recommend staying with Rita. Also, the area she lives in is very cozy and only a 20 minute walk to the beach!
I stayed in East Hampton in Rita's home for one night on business. She let me bring my dog, which was really a bonus, and she was kind enough to watch him for me while I had dinner in town and again the next day when I went to see clients in Montauk. It's so rare to find people who are willing to help with pets in a pinch! The house was adorable and had everything I needed--clean linens, wifi, and a really big, comfy bed. I didn't stay long, but if I ever need a place in East Hampton again, I will know where to go.
We stayed there for one night. The house is traditional, renovated and lovely by itself. The bathroom was supposed to be shared with the owner, but we couldn't even lock it, once the dog came in, this is not what i understand under "shared"... There were used and dirty raisors around the bathtub and even not any carpet on the floor.
I have to mention that we were in the beginning of April so "pre-seasoned" there, so we were obviously the first of the season: Absolutely cold in the room and the radiator couldn't be swiched on. Rita helped with an extra-radiator after we asked.
Her advises where to go and her personality makes a little +, as well as the amazing expresso in the morning.
So: Honestly, everything was done minimum, little dirt here and there but the city is lovely. Maybe in summerseason the place is recommendable with terrace and wintergarden.
Rita was charming and so was her dog! The room was tidy, extremly cosy and really really nice. We had a pleasant stay in the Hamptons, Rita was friendly and easygoing- she even made us a fire in the evening. If you plan a stay in the Hamptons, you will hardly find a better place.
Rita was an amazing host! Very friendly and offered us many advices where to go for dinner or other interesting places around the Hamptons. She even picked us up at the station and brought us there TWO times, when we were already too late to catch the train to montauk and back to NY! Thank you so much for that, Rita! Our room was very nice and we could use the comfy living room, winter garden and kitchen as well. We even got espresso in the morning and shared some wine by a nice crackling fire in the fireplace one evening. My friend and I loved it at Rita`s place and we would love to come back whenever we'll be back in New York for longer. Plus: Rita has the most wonderful dog in the world!!
