I recently moved to Vancouver to live with my new wife Sarah! I work as a communications contractor. I'm a lot of fun and very active in the local alternative arts community. I'm looking forward to having you as a guest!

Steve & Sarah’s home had everything my parents needed during their visit. The townhome was clean, tidy, uncluttered, and tastefully decorated. Their well-appointed kitchen was stocked with all the tools you need to prepare gourmet meals if you so desired. The location is a great alternative to Vancouver, with many casual dining options in the area, and a nearby Safeway, liquor store, small stand-alone produce stores, and one of the best meat & deli shops. There was ample parking space on the street, and we never had difficulty finding a spot for our vehicle.
The key pick-up and drop off was simple and a short distance away at a nearby cafe. Steve was responsive to my inquiries and accommodating of our requests. There is a very handy guest manual that was left in plain sight, which served as an invaluable reference. Apparently they put this together just in time for my parents arrival! The level of detail covers a “how to” guide on how to operate the TV and Netflix hookup all the way to restaurant recommendations.
I will definitely try to book my parents in for subsequent visits if they will have us. One thing to note is that the space is divided on three levels (plus the rooftop deck) with the common areas up on the third floor, so be prepared for a bit of a workout – consider it a built-in exercise facility! All in all a great stay for my parents (it was their first AirBnB experience). Apart from staying overnight, I spent a great deal of time visiting with them in the space, and from personal experience can confidently recommend Steve & Sarah’s place.
Great Place, Great Host
Discreet, polite and very helpful
we've enjoyed our stay
the place is close to downtown (around 10-15min of walk)
and very close to the Castle (5-10min of walk)
the neighborhood is super clam and quiet
it was a great experience
Stephen and Sarah were fantastic. They left the apt very clean and gave me great suggestions on what more to provide for whoever stays next time.
Stephen and Sara were extremely well-organised, resourceful and busy guests who had really planned how to make best use of their time in Brisbane. They were quiet and respectful of our home, went to a lot of trouble to ensure they didn't disturb us, left the place clean and tidy and were generally all-round great guests.
We've known Stephen for 15+ years and can say that he is an excellent man. He is very trustworthy and dedicated. I would highly recommend him as a guest or host.
We have both known Stephen for approximately three years and immediately hit it off. He is one the most genuinely nice people you will meet, and always goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcome and valued. He is very open-minded and can certainly provide a lot of information in terms of where to go for great eating, socializing, entertainment, etc. We have the highest regard for Stephen and recommend that you stay with him during your travels!
Stephen and I became fast friends at a social event a few years back, and we became reacquainted during my recent stay at his Victoria apartment. There are only positive things I can say about the visit. His apartment is clean with lots of space, the location is very central, and he was a great host. Count on Stephen for savvy local tips and upbeat clever conversations about just about anything you bring up. Thanks to Stephen now I understand when you cross a duck with a beaver you get a platypus. Ok you had to be there. And hopefully you will be. Highly recommended.
