Overall a pretty good deal. Although the property is on a trail, the trail is pretty flat from the resort to the first lift (Zephyr), so get ready to pole your way there...snowboarders, time to walk! Property was a little dated, but comfortable. Probably the most frustrating part was the multiple codes you must remember; one for access to the room and one for access everywhere else. Only 2 codes...but each code was many digits and symbols, etc. Good news, we memorized them by the 4th day! ugh! ON the brighter side, the ski runs were amazing, the powder supreme and the fun overwhelming!
Not a great experience. I was informed I could check in early, but arrived at the condo to find out I had to wait another 3 hours. Also, the listed check-in time was 4:00, but the entry codes did not unlock until 5pm. Jay ended up responding eventually, but it took some time and several contacts to hear a response as I waited in the lobby.
This was a great deal for my son and me. Ski out to main lift area at Winter Park Village. for return Ski In from Mary Jane area or short shuttle ride from WP village.
Condo was very clean and very well appointed. Kitchen quite large and had everything needed. Room for family of 4. Size similar to a hotel room with 2 queens (?) + large kitchen plus dining table for 4 with plenty of room.
Condo resort was (email hidden)vered parking, hot tub, pool, decent restaurant and bar.
We were very happy with this airbnb and would stay here again.
We had a hiccup with our door key #s, but it was easily worked out. Jay responded quickly, which was nice.
Being right off the mountain was fabulous. Cozy little joint, best for 2 people. Nice balcony with a view. The facilities are great. Hot tub, little restaurant and bar and all the staff is quite helpful. Don't forget your 25% discount on ski rentals at the resort. Town is only a 10 min drive.
We had a wonderful time.
Great location. It was clean and simple but exactly what we needed. Good access to the mountain and resort.
We had a great time in Winter Park! We enjoyed the luxury of ski in/ski out from our place. Def. would recommend it and would love to stay again. Clean, cozy and easy to find. Thanks for such a fun weekend getaway.

We had a great time here. It was cozy and comfortable, a great location, and it perfect for two people. Ski in/out was a little difficult for me as a new boarder (too flat out, and Mary Jane was a little rough the first time in) but it worked out fine, and the bus is good too. Jay was easy to communicate with, and Iron Horse has nice amenities and very helpful front desk staff. It was exactly what we were looking for, and we'd definitely stay again.
Had a nice stay, Jay was very responsive and the whole week went w/o a single problem. The room was clean and there was just enough room for two people, would have been pretty cramped for 3 or 4 but manageable. The Iron Horse resort is a nice place with public access hot tubs, a heated pool, well stocked fitness room, and the new restaurant made some phenomenal food (i recommend their pasta dishes).
The Iron Horse resort itself is down the street from the Winter Park Downtown area which means you have a long walk or bus ride to access in the evenings so keep that in mind as you plan your week. There is a ski-in/ski-out access run to the main mountain lifts, which is nice but have those skis/board waxed because the access run is relatively flat and you will need to do a lot of skating to get out.
Winter Park itself is a fun resort with lots of great territories, my only complaint is that there is a lot of flat land out there that you cant avoid when migrating from one territory to the next, so as i said above make sure to keep those skis/boards waxed!
I stayed here over New Years and it was perfect for what we wanted. Proximity to the village and mountain at a great price. Facilities were clean and cozy, murphy bed was surprisingly comfy and fits the space well. Hot tubs and pool were also exactly what we needed after a long day of skiing. Parking was extremely painless whether we skied in, drove into town or took the shuttle. They had recently just opened a bar and restaurant in building c and was great for drinks and apps. Jay was a great host and hope to stay here again.
