Chris and Meg are ACE! Absolutely hands down the best and were the most amazing to host. I had a incredible truly wonderful memorable experience. From the moment they arrived to the sad good-bye as an artist friend of mine drove them to the airport! GREAT energy, truly genuine, down to earth, and so generous! You will not find better...take thesaurus, open, look up any word related to "great", "good", "best" then take all words place here to express the time with them! Wonderful conversations, telling stories. They have great taste in everything-- music, art, design, food, taking photos,... They were absolutely delightfully spontaneous but complete with a complete itinerary and schedule clearly defined by their many interests to pursue during their stay. And it was fascinating to hear of what they saw and experienced. Wonderfully adventurous-- enough to take the challenge by a friend to ride a tandem bike he had lent them, through the busy streets to downtown with a short impromptu tour of the architecture and public art downtown, then were off for a long ride along the lake front. They were just wonderful to show them around, as was sitting in the morning drinking coffee and tea, to hanging out in the evening. Took Meg to have a manicure/pedicure at my local neighbourhood place, then to discover just down the street one of Chicago's best kept secret sushi restaurants, recommended by a guy I met on the street who has become a friend, who lived in Japan, and works at the Japanese Consulate. Then going to Hoosier Mama pie shop, Salvation Army thrift store shopping in an old art deco building, then taking the subway to the bus to a south side prop shop in an industrial part of Chicago. They are joyously curious, interesting, interested, lively, just wonderful people as individuals and as a couple....Any time, any place, again they are the best of the best, ACE!
