Gretchen stayed a night with her sister. I always check on my guests either face to face or via text/call. When I did so and asked Gretchen if she needed anything to let me know, she told me that everything was ok. When she was leaving that's when she decided to tell me her issues. At this point I could do nothing to fix her problems. She needed an extra blanket and she didn't understand why there were a couple other guests. Gretchen spoke to me about her issues in a very spiteful condescending manner, which was conveniently in front of my other guest. She came off in such a way that my other guest even felt the need to come to my defense. It seemed she expected 5 star hotel standards when paying $69 a night. Of course, at this point I could do nothing for her because it was too late to correct anything. If she would have talked about her issues when she was having them, I would have done my best to correct them, as I always do. I tried my best to make Gretchen very comfortable but it was not enough, though, I don't think it would've ever been enough by her standards. I tried to shake her hand and end things on a good note but she refused and left with an attitude.
BEWARE: Very nitpicky, insanely high standards, and conveniently lacks proper communication until it is too late. Not only that but you will probably get an attitude from her in the process!
