We had such a wonderful weekend! Johnny is a great host. He is very flexible and quick to respond to any questions! The house was very nice and it's walking distance to anything downtown. Can't beat that!
Johnny is one of the nicest people I've met in Asheville, which is saying something, because Asheville is one of the friendliest places on the planet. He was kind and understanding and a great host. But just as important, his house is inviting, comfortable, superbly located, and tremendously visually stimulating. The photographs don't completely do it justice. Johnny is an artist, and the house is indicative of his visual talent. Thanks again for providing the location for another successful reunion!
Johnny was perfectly efficient, so no complaints there.
I'm honestly not sure how my experience could have been so different from those of all of the reviewers..it's almost like we stayed at different places.
The house itself, is not something I can recommend to anyone. The neighborhood, while close to downtown, is less than desirable. The accommodations are basic, to use a kind word. Upon arrival and walking through the home, two members of my party decided to find a hotel room and refused to stay.
The only way I can see this rental making sense is if you HAVE to be minutes from downtown and there are literally no other options. At these rates you can easily secure two hotel rooms...and those would have WiFi and a TV. (In all fairness, I should have asked about basic amenities and not assumed those would be included.)
Again I strongly advise against staying here.
The house is a short walk to Asheville downtown. Johnny communicated promptly and gave a helpful tour of the house. It is a well-kept older home and worked perfectly for our family.
Johnny was an excellent host! He was flexible when our arrival time changed. The house was plenty of room for five people and was so convenient to downtown!
Johnny was an excellent and accommodating host and the house is great! Clean, comfortable and a great location, just a short walk to downtown. As relatively frequent visitors of Asheville, we will certainly stay here again!
Loved our experience staying at Johnny's place. It was a cute house, walking distance to downtown, and Johnny was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here in the future.
The house was a great alternative to a hotel. Johnny was the perfect host. Meet us, gave a tour of the house and instructs. The house is unique - filled with art and so quaint. Be ready to disconnect though. No tv or wifi. It was perfect for our girls' weekend.
So fun! Great spot. Johnny met us for check in and was so nice and helpful. Walking distance to everything good in Asheville! Lovely house with great decor and space. We had a great time and will be back for sure.
Johnny is a great host. Terrific home a short walk to downtown. Would stay there again.
