I'm an artist from Taos, NM and have traveled to over 40 countries. Most of my work is inspired by my time abroad. Currently I'm exploring the intersections between traditions and globalization. I'm also inspired by my young son, with whom I'm excited to continue exploring the world. Some current international projects include participation in an exhibition themed "woman and the body" in Seoul, Korea, an exchange with Irish artists for which the first half took place in Colorado the summer of 2012...we are looking forward to finishing the exchange in 2014, a residency at La Napoule Arts foundation in Southern France in the fall of 2012 which is combined with a trip to Turin as part of the Slow Food USA delegation to the Terra Madre conference. After spending time abroad I recognize how nice it is to stay in a home instead of an hotel. More about my work may be found here: Lee-(website hidden) and (website hidden) - which follows work inspired by my son.
