The world is getting a whole lot smaller and flatter."

My name is Nicholas and I am a recent UBC graduate with extensive knowledge of student development and interest in going into the international education business.

I was previously actively involved in the world's largest student run organization in leadership development and exchange internships. This has brought be to over 20 countries across the world, mainly in Europe, Asia and North America. During my university years, I have hosted an inaugural global case competition here in beautiful British Columbia which sparked my interest in events planning and marketing, furthermore I have engaged in numerous non-profit organizations in Canada and worldwide. In my final year, a course of developing new business ventures was introduced to me to develop new start-up ventures from the ground up, which fully intrigued and excited my interest as I hope to create my own start up one day as well. I am currently looking for an exciting position in the NEXT big thing in the industries of tourism, events management/marketing, education and human resources. Fluent in English, Mandarin and basic knowledge of Cantonese and German.

In the future, I want to connect my international contacts together with my experiences in working and studying abroad to guide students in the future to create a more responsible and innovative business environment. My long term goal is to establish an educational institution that will revolutionize the way we develop innovative solutions, beyond the current textbook lecture systems.
