I was born and raised in New Orleans, lived in Memphis for four years while I attended Rhodes College and played NCAA soccer there. Upon graduation I moved to Washington DC and in 2009 moved back to New Orleans! I haven't looked back since!

The apartment was exactly as advertised and was a very convenient distance from the French Quarter.
Thanks for the review, Alex! Happy travels!
Our group of 8 loved staying in this fun, funky house. There was plenty of room to spread out and everyone slept very comfortably. The bikes were awesome! We used them to zip around town, to the grocery store, and to Parkway Bakery (the famous Po' Boy place very close by). When we weren't biking, we'd just walk the few blocks up to the Canal St. trolley. The house's coded lock was amazing; it allowed everyone in our group to come and go as we pleased. We soaked up some sun on the porch and in the backyard, and made full use of the house's many, spacious rooms. The area is definitely mixed income, but we never felt unsafe. This was everything our big group needed for our weekend in New Orleans and we'd absolutely stay here again.
Lauren, I'm so glad you had such a wonderful stay - and utilized the bikes! Come see us again!
Nicely located, everything we need was there, the place was very clean, thanks for the stay
Thanks, Hugo! So glad you enjoyed the space!
The location was perfect. Parkway bakery is RIGHT up the street and tht place was fantastic. The space was accommodating for our party (7). Only knock was that one of the showers never REALLY had hot water. So that slowed us down a bit. But I will say, a cold(er) shower is one way to really wake up after a long night on bourbon street.
Other than that, neighbors were awesome, short walk to the street car, 10 min ride to bourbon.
Cabs came promptly and we got around great. Would def recommend for larger groups.
Corey, thanks so much for your review! I'll definitely look into the hot water situation, even if some late night guests prefer a cold shower. ;) Come see us again!
The perfect bachelor party place. This spacious house was great for a group of 8 (could have fit plenty more). Alex left a binder full of suggestions/ideas/how to get around which proved to be very helpful. The patio space is great and its right next to Parkway Bakery which came in handy about a half dozen times. It was a little tough to mobilize big groups b/c cab companies aren't super reliable and the neighborhood is off the beaten path. It wasn't too hard to get to the trolley, but just make sure you're giving yourself an extra hour if you need to get somewhere via cab.
Overall, the group really liked the place. Neighborhood felt safe. The price was totally reasonable. Its a pretty bare bones house (which is great because nothing can break!) but I would recommend bringing some wireless speakers for music. Towels/bedding was provided.
Tony, I'm so glad you had such a great experience at the house!! Isn't Parkway dangerous?! I could eat there every day but I try to resist. Thanks so much for your review!
Great, great, great. We rolled in late on a Friday and found things exactly as stated, plenty of beds, bedding, towels. Contacted our hosts regarding extra bikes, they showed up later that day, it was amazing. This was my 1st ABnB experience and I will use it again and again. Our hosts friendly and responsive, the house was great roomy and charming, the location was perfect and for us the neighborhood was just like home. I can't say enough good things. Thanks for helping to make my 50th birthday trip a complete success.
Sharron, I'm so glad you had such a wonderful experience!! We love New Orleans and are so happy we get to share our city with so many people. Happy 50th!! Come back and see us!
Alexander was very easy to deal with and responded very quickly. Place was sparse on furnishings. No hair dryer. Not the typical place I would stay. Lots of hard beds to pick from. Maybe this is good for New Orleans??
We loved our stay in New Orleans! The location was perfect! Easy walking distance to the streetcar and nice restaurants!
I highly recommend this place. It was very nice and was the perfect amount of space. The check in and check out was quite easy, too.
Alex put together a really helpful binder with restaurant, shopping, biking, and transportation suggestions. We definitely utilized that during the trip and enjoyed each of those.
Steve, so glad you had a wonderful stay!
Highly recommend staying with Alex in his place. As a friend of many years, Alex has always been very trustworthy, consistently reliable and so much fun to be around. He'll treat you as family. Stay with him if you can!
Alex is a great guy. Very responsible and clean. His character and sense of southern hospitality definitely makes him the perfect host for AirBnB. No question he will make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Fantastic guy and always willing to give a helping hand.
Alex is the best! Friendly, reliable, and always knows what's what in New Orleans.
