Sono una persona gentile, disponibile, cordiale e molto educata. Vivo a Roma. Saluti da Antonino
Great apartment with a lot of character in an amazing location by the Spanish steps. Antonio was very kind and responsive.
Perfectly located, very nice flat. Antonio was so nice that he waited for us outside to help with luggage.
The location of the apartment was perfect. The overall size of the apartment was very large. Everything we needed was available. Being on the 3rd floor with no lift, but survived. Antonino was very welcoming and carried one of the bags us stair for us which was not expected. There was tourist information available to assist with locating everything and the food shopping areas. The only problem we had was the hot water was limiting and hard to get. There is no water pressure in the shower. However overall the apartment was perfect for our needs.
Response from Antonino:
Hello, I'm sorry for the water pressure but depends on the municipality, the boiler is very powerful, but if you do not get water pressure can not invent anything better. Should take some time soon I hope.
The appartment is spacious and gives you really the idea that you live in Rome. It's very central located and many highlights are within walking distance (Spanish steps, Vatican, San Angelo, Trevi) or can be reached with the bus that stops in front of the door (the bus doesn't disturb you, not even when you have the windows full open).
There were some things to repair and Antonino said he would take care of it immediatly. The food at the restaurant of the neigbours (Antonino's recommendation) was fantastic with a friendly hostess.
Response from Antonino:
Bulbs ok, ok electrical outlet
Great location and apartment. Antonino was very friendly and helpful.
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was great! The host was absolutely lovely. She was really helpful and understanding especially since I didn't speak Italian and it was my first time in Rome. The apartment is in Aurelia, very close to the Vatican. The bus stop is right in front of the building and it was easy to get around. It'(email hidden)ly neighbourhood and not full of tourists, which I like. I felt like I was visiting family. The actual room is quite large with a big bed. It's bright and very clean. The bathroom is big as well and private. Thanks for a great weekend!
The apartment is a great location and was extremely well kitted out. We will recommend to all our friends visiting Rome.
We had a wonderful stay in Rome. Antonino was a great host, and the apartment is in a wonderful location, a short walk to the Spanish steps, the Vatican, and other must-see locations (and the Ara Pacis museum, just down the street, is a lovely spot too). A very comfortable stay.
I was invited to stay in Centocelle - an alternative neighborhood that is alas not close to the center. On a lark I texted Antonino who immediately responded and secured three nights on the Via Gregoria with a wonderful host. The room exceeded expectation as did my experience living with an Italian family in the center of Rome. Aurelia is a modern convenient neighborhood - close to transpiration and within walking distance to the Vatican. Who could ask for anything more?
Our connecting flight was late and we had no way of contacting the host until we landed in Rome. He was very unhappy with us, and while he originally told me in correspondence that we could leave our baggage until 3 pm the day of our departure, he told us in person we had to be out by 10 am...so we had to make last minute arrangements to leave our belongings at a laundromat. It seemed punitive, (at best - it was a giant miscommunication) and it tainted our experience in his place.
Understand you are paying for the location, which is very convenient. We were not impressed with our host's attitude in receiving us, nor were we happy with the low water pressure, broken kitchen appliances, and dust bunnies under the uncomfortable pullout couch. Would not stay here again, would not recommend it to a friend.
