Hello my name is Dany and I am professional, serious, mother of two student daughters, european culture. Welcome to Tel Aviv
Staying in Dany's apartment was a very pleasant experience. The room is very comfortable and the location is great for the sights and public transport. She gave me good sight seeing advice and directions. Would stay there again.
This has have to have been the worst place in my stay in Israel.
The bed was on the ground, no head shower, no curtain, water was luke war & only for a short while. Unless I activated the water heater & wait at least 15 to 20 minutes there would be no decent water to be clean with. Of course if you decided to leave on the spur of the moment to enjoy your visit you just had to wait & work according to their schedule. Although she said that it would be alright to use the water heater she strongly emphasized the limitation of using it.
There was no privacy at all. the room I had to stay in was divided by curtain and if I had to leave procedures had to be followed. In other words my stay was not free of rules & had to abide by house rules. Not that I was demanding, I just couldn't go out like I would in a normal hotel. I had to drag my suit case up three flights which was not easy. On top of this although she knew I was coming when I rang the bell I had to wait for about ten minutes for her to acknowledge me. I rang the right bell quite a few times & even asked incoming people if they knew her. Yes she did offer me a cup of expresso coffee but so what that should not have been the high light of her welcoming me nor did I ask for any.
I told her I was tired after a long trip & she just kept on talking about things she thought would be of interest to her but I was exhausted, all I wanted to do is go to sleep. She then told me she was a custom jeweler maker, she wanted to show me her work but I was in no mood or had any desire at this point to see any of it. I knew her interest was to try to sell me some, but no thanks.
Adding salt to injury, she knew I was tired. After telling me she worked out of her house & after telling her I desperately needed my sleep, she proceeded to go to her room next to mine which was separated by a a thin sheet she begun hammering for what seemed endlessly. It must have gone on and on for at least 25 minutes before I was finally able to sleep. Yes she did ask me later if the banging was not disturbing, yes I told her it did not bother me but it did. I did not tell her out of embarrassment & respect.
Her advertising states free WiFi it was all but that. I had to position myself situated in the room by the table & had to pray real hard to get any Wi-Fi that came from somewhere else. I will demand & expect to get money back.
I enjoyed my stay very much in this apartment, which is in the centre of Tel Aviv, within walking distance to the beach and a bus ride away from Jaffa Port. Dany was a great host, she is very personable, warm and welcoming. She made me feel at home from the moment i arrived (very late, i'm sorry) It's no lie, she offers superb coffee and interesting conversations, tips and advice on where to go, what to do.
The room itself is very cosy, the bed and pillows, extremely comfortable, i'd definately stay there again if i made a return visit.
I had a very happy time in Tel Aviv! Dany is a great and friendly host! Her apartment is nice and clean, and I felt very well from the first moment!
Wonderful hostess. Clean nice room. Very helpful in giving info on Tel Aviv and how to get around. Very personable and making the stay very comfortable.
I appreciated it very much, especially the little helps and hints from Dany by finding out how Tel Aviv works. The location is close to the central bus station not too far away from the beach and the city centre. The only problem ist the parking with a rental car. The room is very nice and off course I can recommend it
It's a very nice room in the center of Tel Aviv. Quite and clean and tasteful furnitured. Dani is an amazing host, friendly, reliable. And: Her coffee is great!
I was delighted to stay at your home and I was pleased to meet you :) Next time I come to Tel Aviv I would be pleased to meet you again whether in your house if it is avaialable at that time, or just for a coffe.
100% as advertized. Lovely , good atmosphere, good coffee.
Great experience. Not just a beautiful room, but an excellent host!
Dany and David welcome in our house has been a pleasure. Two charming, educated and a very interesting conversation with people.
The motivation for the trip was to reconnect with their roots and I hope they found what they were looking Córdoba.
Highly recommended as breakfast.
Dany and husband David were great guests - only to be expected as they are also Airbnb hosts!
Friendly and sociable, they would be welcome back any time and we would recommend them without question.
Dany & David were the picture perfect guests . kind , fun , polite , adventures , self contained and understanding when I booked another guest in the 2nd room . Loving & caring with my 4 pets ! it was such pleasure knowing them . It feels I have some new friends in Israel . Dany is also an airbnb host and I highly recommend her home if you visit Tel Aviv . Can't wait to visit her one day .
It has been a special guest, very neat, clean and respectful, and I must say I never found the apartment very clean and tidy, I really appreciate it, and I recommend to other hosts
