I am an artist, traveler, and soon to be a provisional psychologist. I grew up in Vancouver and have lived in Edmonton for 12 years. I really love visiting people and places - it's one of my joys in life.
Response from Vistara:
Well, that was an odd review. Here is the email I received from Paul when I left his apartment in Berlin: "...Thanks for leaving my apartment in good condition. I'll be sure to give you a positive AirBnb review, as soon as I've received one from you. Enjoy the rest of your trip, cheers, Paul" (that's cut and pasted from his email to me). I decided not to return to Paul's place after visiting Prague for a week and instead stayed at another, very lovely place nearby. Because my brother booked it for me, I did not get a direct review but my host said this of my stay: "Andrew´s sister Viastara (sp) has been a wonderful guest! The communication before her trip was just easy and very nice. Vistara left my appartement very clean and tidy. I can just recommend her as a guest!" ............ I suppose Mr. Lear might have been miffed because I didn't write him a good review? I don't know. He did assume that I wanted the heat off at night like he does (which I didn't and called him apologetically a little after 10pm one night when I arrived home to a cold apartment). I did find it intrusive when he knocked on the door after 10pm one evening to try out cables for his stereo/my phone (hence a bit awkward?). My iPhone worked just fine at all the other bnbs.... Paul's bed was an unusual 'modular' affair and one of the 'joins' was directly under my rib cage so I flipped the unit around so that the join would be below my knees. I confess, I forgot to swing it back around but, as he was quick to let me know, the piece of furniture is very light and easy to manoeuvre...
