I'm from Chicago, but I've lived in Boston for quite some time now, and I love it. .
I'm got married this January to my lovely wife Stephanie.
Among our favorite things to do are cycling, and mixing cocktails.

Brian was a pleasure to deal with. They have this down well. Clean and beautiful apartment, and right near downtown Boston. Would definitely stay again. Made our trip just that much nicer. Thanks Brian!
Brian and Steph have an amazing home. It was beautiful and clean. Brian was very responsive every step of the way. They live in a great neighborhood with cafes and restaurants right around the corner. We had a great time.
Me and my boyfriend had a great time at Brian and Steph's home. It was clean and beautifully laid out. I would recommend this place to anyone. I so appreciated the folder Brian and Steph created for us. It was filled with ideas on what to do in the area and different restaurants to try out. They also provided directions on how to use the TV and gave us the wifi information which came in handy.
Brian's apartment was perfect. It was as described, close to downtown and to the universities. Brian was reaaly kind and helpfull. 100 % recommendable
Great place to spend awesome time in Boston.
I arrived a little earlier than we had planned, and Steph invited me in and made me feel welcome and at home. My husband and I loved the feel of the place - it had great style and was clean and tidy. The character of the building was amazing, and the things that filled the house made us want to be friends with the hosts.
All correspondence was with Brian, who was extremely friendly and helpful. They even left us with a detailed list of their favorite places to eat and visit.
The neighborhood is charming, and there is so much within walking distance. It's a pleasant 30 minute walk to Harvard square. What a great overall experience!
The experience was great! It was perfect for what my family and I needed- a comfortable place to stay in a convenient, nice neighborhood while we went to baseball games at Fenway and explored the city a little bit. The neighborhood parking pass was a great feature and allowed us to drive around Boston without worrying about parking if we got back late. We walked to the grocery store which was less than 5 minutes away. There are restaurants within walking distance. Brian was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had very quickly.
Brian and Stephanie's apartment really exceeds any expectations one could have for an Airbnb listing. The place is decorated beautifully, is clean, and extremely homey. Walking through the apartment you can get such a great feeling for who they are as people and how passionate they are about what they do - and this goes straight into the kind of hosts they are. Brian was very helpful with answering any questions I may have had beforehand and gave insightful and thorough information.
The neighborhood is absolutely incredible, as well. As a first time Airbnb'er I was pretty cautious about what area I'd be staying in. Somerville is amazing. It's home to some incredible cafes and I believe the temporary location of an unbelievable donut shop. Brian includes great details about some of the hotspots in his guide.
Everyone in the area is so friendly and there are adorable dogs on leashes all over.
If you're looking to explore Boston it's really just a short cab ride away. My group started using Uber (it's like a taxi ride application for your phone, look into it before using it) when we got there and it was like a $9-12 ride depending on time of day. We were there for a festival in the middle of Boston and each day was painless enough to get into the city and back.
All in all, the apartment is really just too cute. The love they display for one another through photos gives one hope for love and a dream to hold onto. So many stars. More than 5. All the stars. Love it.
I had a really great time here with my family. Brian made everything very easy. The photos really don't do justice to the charming apartment. I really loved the handwritten note Brian left for us and also his own guide to Boston. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
Brian and Stephanie were lovely guests and they are welcome to come back anytime!
Brian is salt of the earth. 'Trustworthy' doesn't even begin to cover him. He's also responsible, unflappable, dependable and I might add wise. He makes a great colleague, collaborator and would naturally make a great guest. You can trust him with much more than your apartment. If you host Brian, you're not just filling a vacant spot, you're ensuring peace of mind.
Brian and I have been friends for ages. He's a solid guy, lots of fun-- he's hosted a ton of parties I've been to, and his place is always inviting, warm, and clean. If I were heading to Boston to stay for a bit, I'd definitely pick his place to stay in!
Brian is a great guy. I have known him for quite some time. I trust him and enjoy hearing his crazy cycling stories. Definitely a great person to stay with in the Boston/Cambridge area.
I have known Brian for years—first as a pastor at my church, then as a cycling buddy. He and his fiancée Stephanie are wonderful people—smart, friendly, caring, hospitable, and well-known for their excellent soirees and quality cocktails! The condo is gorgeous, immaculate, and in a really fun neighborhood. You cannot go wrong staying with him!
Brian has been a friend and colleague for many years. He's one of the most trustworthy and dependable people I know. He's also got a great condo in a fantastic location. It's clean, organized and nicely decorated. Brian has a real gift for hospitality and is always a great host.
