Travel is my passion, so if I've to work I like to do it with travellers.... :D
Me and my sister Ambra are the owners of Villa Emilia, we work togheter for our guests and we love it!
Ambra prepare cakes or pies for breakfast...I prefer to eat it!
My friends and I could not have wished for a better host than Giordano. From the time we arrived until our departure he was most gracious and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts served every morning on the terrace especially the special pastries prepared by his sister. We definitely plan to visit again.
This is a lovely place to stay - it was by far the nicest place we stayed on our European vacation. The breakfast served on the patio was very nice, with a good variety of food including a cake homemade by Giordano's sister - delicious. The B&B has clean, spacious rooms and very nice bathrooms. It was a very short walk to the subway stop. I would highly recommend this B&B and hope to visit again! Thank you !!
Fantastic B'n B close to the center, breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the garden, help yourself to a coffee during the day, quiet, clean, everything you could possibly look for when spending a weekend in Rome... Giordi and his family are absolutely charming hosts, always happy to help and assist with any question you may have. Had a late flight leaving Rome; since the room wasn't needed for new guests, Giordi let us use the room until the evening. Overall a wonderful experience.
Giardano di Marca at B & B Eats & Sheets was a wonderful host. The guest house was very clean and comfortable, within easy access of the Vatican by foot, or right near the metro and bus stations.
Giardano and his sister Ambra were so warm and welcoming and really advised us on how to spend our days - every morning, they would go over our agenda with us and recommend places to visit and restaurants/enotecas etc. Giardano even researched a restaurant in Piazza Spagna for us to have dinner before the opera.
Giardano gave us a map of Rome and showed us how to get to the main sites with bus numbers and metro stations.
I would totally recommend B & B Eats & Sheets, and Giardano, with no hesitation at all.....they were a fabulous start to our Italian holiday
We stayed in Villa Emilia for 4 nights. Giordano and Ambra were wonderful hosts and helped us with everything. Thank you for the nice time!! We alle enjoyed the time in Rome!
Giordano is the most welcoming and helpful host we've ever met. From the moment we arrived he was either helping make dinner reservations or giving us restaurant recommendations to make our stay pleasant. The facilities were very clean and the garden space is brilliant. His sister makes fantastic breakfast cake too. The metro is just a few blocks away from this slice of paradise so sightseeing Rome is very easy. I would rate this a A+ experience.
We visited Rome in the end of April 2013. I was there with my wife. And it was just relaxing trip. We neded comfortable and quiet place for staying. And we found it at Eats & Sheets! These appartments have very good combination - on the one hand, quiet, green, cozy plase (like village!), and on the other hand - very convenient for Vatican and Rome center destination - it takes aproximally 20-30 minutes (public transport in 5 min on foot). The room was very comfortable and clean. I always needed to work in Internet and I was pleasantly surprised by quite fast Wi-Fi.
Particular thanks to hospitality of Giordano and his sister Ambra! They are very benevolent, friendly and attanttive hosts. And very professional - that is important!
If I visit Rome next time, I'll stay at Eats&Sheets obviously!
And will recomended it to all my Friends!
My family of 7 came to Rome and stayed in 4 of the rooms at Eats & Sheets. We loved our experience with Giordano and found the location convenient. He was incredibly helpful in recommending restaurants and getting us settled in. The place is a 1 minute walk from the bus (although irregular on holidays and weekends) and a 5 min walk to the train. It's a more residential area and a little oasis outside the hustle of Rome. We stayed over Easter so a lot of the stores and restaurants were closed. Giordano helped schedule our pick up from the airport.. otherwise the B&B would have been difficult to find. The breakfast every morning was simple and delicious, complete with cappuccinos! Giordano's sister bakes great cakes as well. I forget the name, but there is a great bakery/coffee shop by the bus station... be sure to grab a cappuccino there with cream. The B&B looks just like the pictures, beautiful. The beds were comfortable we received fresh towels every other day. The only thing is the walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbors easily. My family and I really enjoyed out stay and would happily recommend this to anyone visiting Rome.
I wish there were more places like Eats & Sheets Vaticano. Our staying was extremely pleasant.
Great neighborhood. Great host. Great breakfast. And the room was great too.
