Place was as advertised and host was really helpful and responsive with a few questions prior to and upon arrival through text. The house was clean and backyard was super for entertaining my family for a late Thanksgiving meal. Kitchen stocked with nice knives and wine glasses and all that was needed to prepare the meal. Kids loved the Netflix ability. Location to Heights and the highway couldn't be beat for getting around quickly. Overall great experience.

Jennifer was friendly and welcoming to her lovely bungalow in the east side of the Heights. It's got a warm old home feel, but it's clean and well furnished. Plus, it's close to restaurants, coffee shops, and walks through the neighborhood. Just 10 minutes to downtown!
Jennifer's place was a wonderful little getaway in the Heights. We used to live in the Heights and it was great to spend time in such a great house. Jennifer was an excellent host going above and beyond with special bath products, towels, and even WIFI! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend her place! Thank you!
Had a wonderful time! Hosted a tea party for a close friend and every one loved the house.
Jennifer was super attentive and very hospitable. The house was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Would highly recommend this rental
I would definitely recommend Jennifer's bungalow & I would stay here again! She was great with communication, and the house was very convenient to get to. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and she even had fresh flowers in the rooms to welcome us. The back and front porches had lots of seating, and we enjoyed the bean bag toss game.
What a great place to stay! Jennifer's home was very comfortable and luxurious. Having the Keurig to make fresh coffee was a great touch. The back yard and deck were excellent. Our stay was only for 1 day, but I can imagine spending some time out there on a longer trip. Everything was very clean and well-organized. Thanks, Jennifer!
Wonderful house and an incredibly comfy bed. Great back porch. Very accommodating hosts. On the downside: Neighborhood is listed as The Heights, but I'd say it was at its far end and not as nice as I expected.
Jennifer's home is a dreamy bungalow in a charming, historic neighborhood. The trip from the airport was short and seamless. When I arrived, fresh flowers were waiting in the living room, and in the kitchen I found a bottle of wine and neatly arranged coffees for the Keurig machine—such a nice touch that made me feel at home after a long day of travel. I was in town for a wedding that was hosted at a downtown hotel, which was a quick 5 minute drive from Jennifer's. The next day, I took a break from celebrating to walk through the hip neighborhood, and followed Jennifer's recommendation of the D&T Drive Inn for a microbrew. And a trip to Houston wouldn't be complete without tasting one of the local specialities—kolaches—which are available hot out of the oven at the Shipley's bakery that's just a few minutes walk from the house. I've stayed at a ton of AirBnB places, and this was my best experience so far!
My wife and I stay exclusively in vacation rentals when we travel and this has to be one of the best we've stayed in for overall comfort and location within a city! It's charming, cozy, and the backyard deck is outstanding!
This is a great space in a great location. Would definately stay here again.
Jennifer was a great and easy guest! My apartment was spotless when I returned. I would host her again any time.
Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to host. She communicated well and left our place in pristine condition! She followed instructions perfectly for locking up and returning the keys. Thanks Jennifer, you're welcome any time!
We were very pleased to have Jennifer and her friends as our guests. Jennifer was easy to communicate with, appreciative and left our house tidy. Happy you enjoyed your visit, look forward to next time!
I've known Jennifer for 6 years, and she's an amazing host. I can't count the number of times that I've slept on her couch in the past. Anyone would be lucky to stay at her place!
Jennifer and I met in high school, lived together in undergrad, and have gone on multiple domestic and international trips together. That's to say she is my very best friend and I know her and her husband, Hunter, quite well. I use airbnb frequently and know both Jennifer and Hunter go above and beyond the requisite measures to be good hosts (i.e. not just extremely clean, prompt, understanding, and helpful - they also regularly leave a freebie perk or two like flowers, wine, snacks, and make guests comfort their top priority by taking care of little touches, like making sure there's extra wood for the chimenea if it's going to be cold). I would not hesitate to recommend their beautiful home and hope more people travel to the Heights.
I've known Jennifer and her husband, Hunter, for ten years and actually served as best man for her wedding. They're extremely reliable and hospitable and-- perhaps most importantly-- they have a sweet place. I've definitely crashed a night or two on their guest bedroom and can't complain
Jennifer has been a close friend of mine since college so that means we've known each other for about 10 years now! *gasp* I would describe Jennifer as an adventurous traveler her most recent trip having been to India which definitely is not for the faint at heart! My fondest memory of Jennifer is the time we did a beach cleanup together in the very early stages of our friendship. Not only did she brave the cold weather while camping on the beach, she met all my classmates for the first time and helped us clean the beach as part of our community service project! I recommend Jennifer because she is adventurous, open, funny, thoughtful and smart, all qualities which I think make for a good house guest!
