"Love the life you live, something's got to give;
Live the life you love, like you can't get enough"
Neil was the best part about the place. If you know no one, and want to learn about the city, Neil does a great job of giving you ideas, telling the cities story, and he just generally is great with people. He taught me alot about the cities culture and was very accomodating and organized. The apartment is decent as far as cleanliness as well. Location was also excellent as bus stop was right in front of his house, and it's a quiet neighborhood. I used the bus entire time I was there. Unfortunately the roof top was closed, and I was really looking forward to that.
Staying with Neil was great fun. His location is perfect for exploring one of the most iconic areas of San Fran and he was great with recommendations of eating places and things to do. We would absolutely stay with Neil again and no doubt would have even more fun.
I stayed at Neil's before my first half marathon (in Golden Gate Park). I was nervous about the run but I got a good nights sleep and Neil being flexible about check in and out times helped me a lot.
I had a last minute need for a room in SF and Neil was very accommodating. He was able to get the room ready in short order and coordinate the check in process very seamlessly. Also, parking is very easy in this neighborhood which is extremely hard to find.
Neil and his two roommates are friendly folks, they all have an entrepreneurial spirit and useful knowledge about SF, which they are willing to share.
The Fulton Chateau was a fantastic place to stay! Neil and his housemates were all wonderful. The location was perfect and the house was always well taken care of and relatively clean. I have to say one of the best features if the rooftop patio! The laid back atmosphere of the place allowed us to feel comfortable and welcome. I even attended a party with Neil and his housemates. I would absolutely recommend a stay, its well worth it!
Neil was a great host -- him and his housemates were really friendly and laid back and full of suggestions for things to do in SF.
Location wise - the place is great for getting downtown because the bus stops right outside the house. The Haight is just a couple of blocks away; you'll not failed to be amused by a stroll along it.
Highly recommend staying here.
Neil is an extremely friendly and warm host -- he introduced me to the area, all the different things I could do nearby and took the time to just chat about stuff in general. Given that I booked my stay on an extremely short notice, understandably the room/bathroom wasn't completely ready, and Neil was quick to suggest I could wash the bed sheets in the on-site laundry and even gave me the change for it. The killer feature of the place was the rooftop patio with amazing views, and easy access to it. I found the neighborhood itself to be safe and walkable. Just one caveat -- the closet inside the room as well as the one bathroom outside is shared with other roommates, if privacy is an issue. Neil himself was very respectful and kept closet visits to a minimum. Overall, I had a positive experience staying at Neil's place for a week!
We are a young couple from italy that has spent 3 days in sf for tourism.Neil was very kind and gave us a lot of advices about
what to see and where to go in SF. He also invite us to partecipate in a private party. I defenitively recomend Neil.
The apartament has important plus: position ( safe place with free parking around, bus stop to reach the main attraction), price and of course Neil and his friends. The terrace has also a beatiful view on the city.
Something to improve in our stay? Maybe more cleaning on the shared bathroom
Neil was friendly and helpful. Check in / check out was easy and flexible. The location is great, easy access to good restaurants and the Haight, and the 5 bus runs right by the apartment to get Downtown. Part of my stay was with his roommates, who are very nice, and some of it was with other airbnb guests, which worked out great.
Neil was a perfect guest - clean, respectful, communicative. After he left and I returned to my place, I saw no signs of his presence - which is always a nice thing to come home to. I'd highly recommend him to other hosts.
Neil is a very likeable, fun-loving in a good way, responsible and thoughtful Canadian guy. We got along fine. If you get a chance to host Neil, I think you will find the same thing!
Neil was very sociable, inquisitive and ambitious entrepreneur. He joined us at the dinner table on his last night which was nice. He definitely was a nice guy and interesting to talk to.
A Great Guest and considerate. My place is open to him anytime.
