I'm an American who has lived in Paris for the past three years. I have traveled extensively in Western Europe, and before I moved to Paris I lived in England for one year. I come from the East Coast of the US and have lived in Connecticut, Philadelphia, New York and Boston.
I'm always looking to meet new people wherever I travel. I don't like planning things too far in advance and prefer to wander around a city finding new things rather than having a set itinerary and jumping from tourist attraction to tourist attraction. I am passionate about music (Radiohead, the Junior Boys, Of Montreal, Air, Girl Talk, LCD Soundsystem, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Beethoven, etc) and literature (Chaucer, Shakespeare, Malory, Proust, etc). Adventure is important. I'm also eager to explore the nightlife that any city has to offer. I prefer exciting ventures through cities rather than lazy holidays on the beach.
I run regularly and love to ski.
My favorite cities are Paris, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Berlin and Philadelphia, but I also have a special place in my heart for Stockholm and Oslo. The most epic holiday I have taken thus far was a two-week trip through Uzbekistan.
