I did stay in this great place only for 2 nights as I had been in Copenhagen. It is such a lovely place, I will definitely stay here again!
We stayed for four days in Ludo's apartment and it was absolutely fantastic! The house was easy to find and the location on the canal is great! The view is unbelievable! We felt very much at home and Ludo was very friendly and welcoming. Even though we didn't meet personally, Ludo was very caring and we stayed in touch over the phone.
The apartment is not that far from the city centre and we walked everywhere (about 30min to train station). A good thing is that the apartment is next to a shopping centre where you can also find a supermarket.
Ludo's apartment is a very good place to stay in Copenhagen and I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else!
Ludo's place was very clean, modern, and comfortable with a beautiful view of the canal. Our only regret was not being able to meet him. We found the key box on his bike and let ourselves in and out. I highly recommend the area for easy access to public transportation and bike rental as well. Lovely lovely time!
Really good communication. Very friendly contact. Nice flat in an interesting area of Copenhagen. Amazing view from balcony, super running conditions at the piers. Every time again.
Firstly before i talk about my experience i must congratulate my Host
Mr Ludovic Otterbein for his first class communication, from the outset of my initial enquiry he was very fast in getting back to me and conveyed good energy and humour.
Ludovic's presentation and description of his canal side apartment was 100% accurate, first impressions do count and i knew that i would be stepping into something special before i even got there ! The apartment was spacious clean and full of light and the duel balconies made it perfect for relaxing at any point of the day watching the sunrise or sunset.
When i entered the apartment i was greeted with a welcome bottle of wine unfortunately as i was in training i had to forgo the wine but just his thoughtfulness made me smile !
On the other hand i was lucky enough to have the use of Ludovic's bike which i used extensively clocking up over 80km during my stay (sorry if one of the brakes got a little squeaky) !
His instructions for getting there were great and i had no problem in finding his apartment or gaining entry to the building, the Design and Architecture of the apartments is quite unique and well thought out with pleasant outlook on to the water from the balcony.
All transport links work well and it's only a short walk from the nearest train station to the Apartment.
I would highly recommend using Ludovic's apartment if your going to be visiting the Gorgeous City of Copenhagen.
Nice and clean apartment. Ludo had put a nice botle of wine for us in the fridge:) only one train stop from centrum
I stayed here with my wife and son in August and we loved it! There was a welcome bottle of wine waiting for us which we thought was a lovely touch! The apartment itself is spotless and as others have said it is situated in a very convenient location. As it was summer, we slept with the windows open so we expected some street noise. Light sleepers should bring ear plugs but the noise wasn’t too bad. If you turn right out of the apartment and left at the church, there are two big supermarkets there, one selling fresh bread and cakes. Also continue past the second supermarket, turn right onto the next street and no more than 100 metres down is a good Danish restaurant called Klubben, which serves good, unpretentious food and plenty of it! ((website hidden)); in total maybe 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Ludo was great to deal with and sent us the keys through the post as he couldn’t be there himself to greet us. He responded very quickly to all our queries and there were no difficulties at all.
Me and my 2 friends had a great time in Copenhagen and at Ludo's apartment! Ludo is a very nice and well prepared host - he showed us how everything works in his space and gave us good recommendations where to eat or where to rent bikes. He even had maps and travel guides of Copenhagen and we really enjoyed his welcome wine bottle. Thanks Ludo!
The sleeping sofa can be easily turned into a bed and is very comfortable. What we loved most was the patio where we could eat breakfast in a green and quiet surrounding.
Ludo's apartment is pretty close to the center (a 10 minutes walk to the main station).
We loved Ludo's apartment. The location was fabulous, it was spotless, the kitchen had every utensil you might need and the bed was extremely comfortable. Ludo couldn't be there to meet us but he arranged for a friend to welcome us and despite the fact that we were a bit late due to a flight delay, nothing was too much trouble. A great Copenhagen experience. Thanks Ludo!
My partner and I stayed at Ludovic's apartment in Copenhagen. We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and spacious. It is well located within walking distance, or a quick bus ride, to the city centre or many other tourist places. Ludovic provided lots of information about the facilities in the apartment as well as tourist sights in the city - all very helpful. We would highly recommend this apartment.
Ludovic and his friends have been wonderful guests.
Contact has been very friendly, communication was easy.
They took very good care of our place and have been the kind of guests you'd love to deal with everyday.
Should they contact you for a booking, I strongly recommend them.
Ludo est un excellent invité. La communication s’est très bien déroulée. Il n’y a eu aucun soucis.
Vous pouvez l'accueillir sans hésitation.
A lovely flat to experience Copenhagen. It is in the heart of the city, new renovated and walking distance to almost everywhere.
and has a sweet, charming owner Ludovic
do not miss it :-)
