I'm a professor of political science at McGill University, and I live in Montreal.
This place is a Mile End gem! It's airy and spacious, and very well-appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was a great space to work in, especially. The location is fantastic, with tons of places to eat and very handy public transportation nearby. Major attractions are either walkable or an easy distance by transit (20m to the Old Port by a bus that stops a block away, for example). Yves was very accessible, answering emails promptly, but we didn't need to contact him at all during our stay, since everything was exactly as he outlined it in the info he provided. Thanks for a great stay!
Fantastic apartment. Bright spacious and perfect for a family with a young child. Felt very cozy and homey. Yves was exceptionally responsive to questions and giving us help. In addition, the apartment was situated in one of Montreal's most wonderful neighbourhoods (to my taste at least). Would recommend this apartment to any visitors on their way to the city!
Yves is a great host with an amazing apartment in a fantastic neighborhood, where I spent three nights with my wife and two teenage daughters. Yves accommodated us by putting a bed in his nursery, effectively turning it into a 3-bedroom apartment with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the local coffee shops and restaurants and even met a few neighbors while digging out from a snow storm. I've been renting houses and apartments for years and can honestly say that this is one of the best values and well appointed homes I've visited. Five stars all the way!
Yves has a very handsome and classy apartment in the heart of Mile End. My wife and I and 2 young-adult sons were extremely comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely. Yves went out of his way to set things up to accommodate us (so that both boys had their own spaces), and was very responsive and easy to communicate with. There is a Bixi bicycle rental station practically right out front, which we used happily and often. The apartment is a few minutes walk from and almost equidistant between both rival Montreal bagel bakeries, so it's easy to taste test. You're on a lovely street of Montreal row houses, but only steps from the excitement of Mile End. We especially enjoyed two nearby restaurants, Le Khaima (Mauritanian -- as in north African -- 1 long block southeast) and Nonya (Indonesian, 1 long block northwest). A lovely spot, with excellent, caring hosts. Highly recommend.
Yves' apartment is lovely, stylish, clean, and comfortable. The location can't be beat and the kitchen is very well stocked. Plus, Yves was very easy to deal with. It was a lovely experience, and I hope to stay there again.
We couldn't be happier with our stay at Yves's apartment. From the moment we booked through airbnb, Yves was helpful and generous in helping with our research and answering any questions we had. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. We were two couples and it provided for a great place to relax in between our explorations of the city. The location was also perfect in Mile End, within walking distance of many of the places we needed to visit.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this fantastic apartment. The apartment was clean and well maintained. It has a great layout and is a comfortable space to stay in. We felt right at home.
Location is excellent, nearby to many coffee shops, restaurants, lounges and shopping. And was a short walk to the metro. Key pick up and drop was easy and hassle free.
Would definitely stay here again!
