Mireya was a warm and welcoming host. I felt very comfortable.
The studio was spacious and cozy at the same time, and everything worked perfectly. The studio has character & charm, and the location is fantastic. I came specifically to see a show at the Fine Arts Museum and was amazed to find that I was literally next door.
If you are a light sleeper like me you should bring ear plugs for the occasional burbling of the fridge and noises from outside, but most people will find it very quiet.
Staying here was a great experience. The location was great and while the kitchen and bathroom of the unit were rather small, it had considerable charm.
We dealt with Melanie on the phone and Mariya at the house. Both were as helpful as they could be.
Mariya was attentive, and even managed to help us find a legal parking space right at the door. The location is quite central, a few blocks west of McGill, but on a dead end so traffic was minimal, and on the back side of the house there was no street noise at all.
The house is a gorgeous late 19:th C mansion, with all sorts of nice architectural touches (dental moulding, grand staircase, etc). Our bed was super comfy, & we had an attached private kitchen & bath. Everything was provided for; if you wanted something that wasn't, I feel sure she would provide it for asking. Even the wifi worked well.
Our apt was on the ground floor; she also lists another walk-up apt in the house.
She has a micro-dog which accompanies her everywhere, so if you are allergic that might be an issue. Otherwise I can't think of any problems at all. It's the first place I'll try when we visit again.
The host could not be more welcoming. She was extremely gracious and warm. The place was located in the heart of the museum district. I would definitely stay there again when I next visit Montreal.
There is a reason why Casa Heidi has a 5 star rating and such glowing recommendations. They can't be beat. The accommodation is so comfortable, immaculate and charming and the location is unbeatable. Melanie's mother is a most attentive host but at the same time she is only there when you want her. My husband and I will return.
I stayed for 3 days at Casa Heidi Bar and it was a wonderful apartment. Heidi was very welcoming and helpful and the apartment was quite lovely, very clean, very convenient to downtown Montreal. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a tremendous place to stay if you're visiting Montreal. The studio is centrally located, quite large (bigger than the pictures suggest), and very quiet and private. Heidi was also a fabulous host. She saved us a parking spot for our arrival, greeted us with the keys, and then was extremely respectful of our privacy for the entirety of our stay.
I'm a first-time user of Air BnB so i wasn't sure what to expect but Casa Heidi surpassed my expectations - by a mile. It's a gem, a gorgeously decorated and spacious studio flat with balcony, kitchen (equipped with pots, plates, cookery, glasses, cups and cutlery), and bathroom, in a very central and desirable property and location. My hostess was there to meet me when I arrived, and was charming and welcoming. I have already told my friends about the place & I hope to return in future. I am very grateful to have stumbled upon such a lovely flat.
This was a lovely apartment in a fantastic central location next to the Musee des Beaux-Arts. It's very charming and spacious, with a large well-equipped kitchen perfect for staying in for dinner, comfy living room, and very comfortable queen bed. Our host was super friendly and helpful. An excellent stay! Would return. Be aware it is a 3rd floor walk-up if you have any mobility issues.
Logement super sympas et très bien placé ainsi qu'un accueil et un soutient tout le long inépuisable ! Je recommande très chaudement cet appartement.
