I am a retired educator in the field of Foreign Language instruction, and international Education. I have a Doctorate in International Education from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. I have traveled and worked all over the world and speak English, Spanish, French, Swedish and Portuguese.
One of my dreams was to have a bed and breakfast because I find most people to be so very interesting and love to meet people from all over the world! I am originally from Guatemala but have lived most of my life in the United States and Europe. I have lived and worked in the field of education and development in Latin America, Asia, Africa, and spent many years in Sweden. My most favorite place to visit has been Turkey. The city of Istanbul is wonderful and the region of Cappadocia simply amazing.
I have two wonderful sons: Mikael and Daniel who are also world travelers.
I cannot live without my cats, and have two lovely feline companions at this time. I love to read, I love foreign films and most of all I love to travel.
I am friendly, warm, and offer great hospitality while allowing my guests to be fully independent.
