Hello, I live in the Tuscan countryside and I like the nature, the good food and my family. I love cooking and visiting new places...I wait you in my beautiful and confortable home.
We (2 couples) loved our stay at Il Melograno. The apartment was lovely & very well appointed. The local village of Roco A Pili was a short walk away with supermarket, etc. Nicola was very helpful with local knowledge to help us enjoy our visit to Tuscany and the extra touches of their own olive oil & honey on the bench & the lovely gesture of Mr Fusi bringing over wine & a large bowl of delicious home grown figs was much appreciated. Thank you.
Doretta, her husband, and son were very welcoming. The place was very clean and there was a lot of room. We received freshly picked plums and Doretta even helped with our laundry when we ran out of time to finish before we went out for the day. The location is really well situated and about 20 minutes into Siena. A lovely spot.
Helpful host and lovely apartment. It is a 10 minute drive to Siena but given we had a car that wasn't a problem.
We had a great stay here! This is the perfect Tuscan countryside apartment! Large, clean and Nicola was an absolute gem. :)
We weren't able to meet Doretta but her friend Francesca and son Nicola took great care of us. The flat is big, comfortable and well equipped. Homemade jam and honey were a lovely touch, thank you Doretta! Siena city center / Duomo parking is 12 minutes' drive and basics (supermarket, pharmacy, recommended Il Buon Sapore pizzeria) are available within walking distance. The only (small) drawback is the traffic noise during rush hour with the windows left open. Overall the flat offers good value for money and is a perfect launch point to explore the area.
Such a charming spot! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time here. Really great value for money and perfect for families with children as there was two rooms.
Lovely family who own it, they even filled the fridge with complementary fresh fruit and homemade jam! We would stay there again.
Doretta and Adriano are wonderful hosts, they are very caring and reliable, they really enjoy taking care of their guests. And their place is really nice and cozy: it is a recently renewed ancient farm house next to the village of San Rocco a Pilli, with all conveniences only few hundred meters away. From their home can see the skyline of Siena and it is ideally located at the heart of Tuscany. Nicola, their son, is an archeologist and a tourist guide, and he can give you a lot of tips for things to do and places to visit off the beaten track. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay there as much as I do when I go home!
