I am the owner of Light Tree, and Yoga Nivas, a community and arts-inspired bnb. We host passion-driven artists and creative types who believe their true essence of self and spirit comes from a sense of the natural, and love supporting sustainable, healthy, happy holistic living.

I am a yogi and performance artist and I love hosting! I find that with each guest who comes to stay, I learn more and more about the world. I especially enjoy the thought of one day traveling to communities around the world, leading my children's yoga workshops, sharing my work in Kundalini Yoga, Performance Art and Modern dance and teaching at a variety of locations. As my now 19 year old son, who has lived in community all his life puts it, "Ajeet helps to smooth out the rough edges of a busy day, or put a higher curve in a smooth day".

During the course of your stay, I offer you an opportunity to do some Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, get a private healing session or discover your true life's purpose in an Intuitive Inquiry.

This year I intend to open my heart and mind even more, helping others to understand our range of how our emotions can turn into our illness ~ and how enlightening ourselves and working on our bodies and our frame of mind, can weave their web of peacefulness or stress that allows our full recovery. We are the ones that holds our world in place!

My children's yoga training program, Dancing Spider Yoga helps both parents and teachers share and learn yoga, while giving them 100% of the tools they need to bring yoga into their community and family.

While you are here, I'll have clients for yoga classes, Full Moon gatherings and healing sessions. If you like, go to my website, (URL HIDDEN) and book a session for yourself. It'll take the rough edges off your travel and give you good sleep. I'm also here to share stories, good food recipes, and good simple laughter.

In the summer I teach an Acting Course through the University of Tennessee through Kids U! My program, Got Talent! is an improvisational acting and theatrical class for elementary aged children. During the year, I lead Children's Yoga Teacher Trainings, Yoga Class in Kundalini & Meditation and am part of a larger network of peace makers and social activists, artists and healers in the south east region.

I live in the suburbs, so going hiking and visiting farms is a must! I'm part of several local community organizations, and am a beloved arts-driven social activist, permaculture student and intentional community expert. In this line of work, I help women and men uncover what is holding back their passion in life, and through the lens of yoga and meditation, absolutely reduce their stress so that they can embrace all of life with grace, radiance, and deep bliss

As a yoga and performing arts-in-education specialist I have taught at Natures Way Montessori School, Knoxville County Magnet Schools, Children's Hospital, YMCA, The Glowing Body, Helen Ross Mcnabb Mental Health Center, Sisters of the Rainbow, Knoxville County Public Defenders Office, and the Public Library.

I am available for a private session as a great way to 'get grounded' once you arrive! If you would like to schedule a Relax into Radiance day during your stay at Yoga Nivas, it would include a 1 hour healing, followed by a detoxifying juice. For more information on these sessions, please visit my site, (URL HIDDEN)
