Laura and Cassidy were wonderful hosts. It was the first airbnb experience for my girlfriend and me and we couldn't have made a better choice. We stayed there during the Jazz-Festival. The room was very beautiful, spacious and clean. So was the whole house. A big plus were their bikes which they provided for free. The location in the quiet and safe Marigny Quarter is perfect, all the great sights of New Orleans, including the French Quarter, are reachable by bike. Laura and Cassidy are a very communicative, easygoing and openminded young couple. They had great recommendations for food, bars and other sights. They even put us on guest lists of jazzclubs and concerts. So we ended up attending two concerts of Cassidy and his band, which has been a very cool experience. We can strongly recommend this offer and would book it every time again!
What an amazing cozy place! Perfect location for all the best food and music. It's an easy walk to the French Quarter, and because Laura and Cassidy had such great recommendations and let us use their bikes we saw everything we wanted to and more without needing a car or taxi. Nice Big Comfy Bed! This sweet place made us not want to leave! We had 5 wonderful nights of fun and quiet sleep. Immaculately clean kitchen and bathroom. We loved how private and peaceful our room was. Can't wait to visit again, and hope to host Laura and Cassidy too, they are totally awesome people!
We also have to mention, The Healing Center 2 blocks away is another priceless sanctuary of peace, vitality, culutre, wi-fi, great music and food that ended up being an unexpected highlight of our trip
Laura and Cassidy were not only great hosts but also wonderful people to meet!
After staying at a hotel in the French Quarter (where I was put up through work), I was eager to discover a less touristy side of New Orleans. Needless to say, my boyfriend and I were delighted to find ourselves in Laura and Cassidy’s charming home in the heart of the Marigny – a neighborhood that we quickly fell in love with. Though I had never rented a private room in a home through AirBNB before, I found their home to feel very comfortable and private.
Laura and Cassidy not only provided us with great local recommendations but also lent us their bikes- which helped us cram in as much as we could during our short stay! We will definitely be back!
Simply Laura and Cassidy were great hosts. They were really helpful and friendly and provided comfort and privacy. Their place was clean, beautiful and very well located with walking distance to almost everywhere. They also gave us their nice bikes, so we could explore a bit further into the city. Besides all of this, we also had a chance to see Cassidy's performance, he is a great musician with lots of information about various kinds of music and dance . To make it short, we really enjoyed our stay there and definitely would stay with them in our next trip to Nola.
Laura is a great host, and the apartment is in a perfect location. She lent us 2 bikes, which is the most perfect way to get around the city. :) Much like all the other reviews say - everything is pretty much in walking distance, and the neighbourhood feels very safe.
Great and clean place in a cool neighbourhood. Laura was very helpful and friendly and gave us good advice. We had a good time and would come back. Thanks again!
As all of the reviews say, Laura was a gracious host! She was flexible with our check in time and was fine with us traipsing in and out of the house late due to the wedding we were in town for. The walk from her house to Bourbon Street is beautiful and I felt very safe. She even gave my fiance her bike to ride around for the second day and gave me an umbrella when she saw it was raining! Thanks Laura!
Laura's place was extremely quiet and clean - a great deal for the price. The Marigny is a really cute neighborhood within easy walking distance of the French Quarter and Frenchman St, plus there are a lot of really cute places to eat in the neighborhood itself. Would definitely recommend it as an affordable way to see NOLA.
Laura and Cassidy have a beautiful home in a perfectly situated part of Marigny. A few blocks from four different cafes (incl. Flora, which is awesome) and just a short walk or bike ride to Frenchman and the French Quarter. They're both great, down-to-earn hospitable people, and it's super-nice that they let you borrow their extra bike. I strongly recommend Peace in the Marigny.
Laura's place was comfortable, clean, and within walking distance of the French Quarter. She and Cassidy were friendly and kind hosts, and I appreciated that they offered rides to and from the airport for just $20 - way cheaper than a cab transfer. They had great food recommendations for us as well! Would definitely stay with them again.
Laura and here boyfriend were great guests, and a pleasure to meet and talk to. They left the space clean and were quiet and respectful...everything you would want in a guest. We welcome them back anytime.
I was really happy to meet Laura and her fiancé. It was nice to talk about their way of life and to share fresh local apricots!
Tout est ok .
Laura is very nice. She is respectful of the property, very friendly. She is the parfait guest.
I hope to stay in touch with her and see her again.
A hightly recommended guest
Most charming young couple, interested and musically talented!
Welcome back anytime, dream guests
deux personnes tout a fait corrects et simpathiques
Laura and Cassidy are a lovely couple. All was perfect when they left. Highly recommended and welcome back with pleasure !
Laura and Cassidy are quiet, respectful and neat. I recommend them !
Laura was a great guest: very easy to communicate with and very nice !
Laura and her traveling partner, Cassidy, were fine guests. They arrived late - just as we were going to bed - and left early, so we didn't get to spend much time with them, but they were easy to host and we'd have them again any time.
