Julie was a great host; was very friendly and accommodating. She made me feel very welcome from the start, and even allowed my two younger siblings to stay over with me for a few nights. I would highly recommend a stay with her!
Julie was a wonderful host-friendly, accommodating and willing to show you around. The house is in a beautiful cohousing community with fresh vegetables available and hammocks for you to lounge on.
Will definitely recommend this place to others!
Julie was a great host! She made us feel very welcome, and even a part of her co-housing community. She took the time to show us around and make us feel comfortable. I wish we had more time to chat with her, and spend the time in her lovely neighborhood. Overall, Julie was a great host, and very accommodating :)
It was perfect, exactly what I was looking for, a little oasis in the holiday craziness.
Julie was very nice. Room was clean. I will stay in this place again if I have business to go same city in a future.
Julie was an amazing host, her home is peaceful and serene. The neighborhood is adorable and safe, close to bus lines and grocery stores. Julie's home is perfect for anyone new to Portland.
I had a lovely time staying at Julie's home. She was so accommodating letting me use her kitchen and bike. The co housing community and extremely welcoming. I attended their weekly yoga class. There was also a hot tub available to use any time. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Julie's.
Julie was an excellent host. She was very kind and accommodating for my needs. She has a peaceful, clean, and welcoming home with a large kitchen and rooms filled with natural light. Since I am new to Portland, she was able to point me in the right direction when I was looking for a natural foods grocery store, a GF bakery, fun out door activities, and jobs. Her cohousing community is lovely too, with a big common house and very friendly neighbors. You can even participate in dining with the community a couple days a week which is a great way to meet people and get to know the area.
The only small drawback to this place is that most of the activities I ended up doing were on the SE side or down town Portland, which I didn't realize would be the case when I made my reservation, and there's almost always traffic on Hwy 26 which is the main meridian into the city from Beaverton, so I had to leave lots of extra time for commuting/parking before my activities. But this home is close to public transportation so if you plan ahead, it's very easy to get around. If you stay here and you're attending events in downtown or the east side, leave a minimum of half an hour for commuting/parking time.
I feel very lucky to have found this room in Portland. With the exquisite setting and the peaceful, community feel, it turned out to be just what I needed.
Julie was a very gracious hostess. In spite of working so hard as a nurse during the day, and attending to her son (home from college while I was there) in the evenings, she was always ready for a good conversation and to include me in activities. I felt completely welcome and trusted in the home . Very nice accommodations in this co-housing community, too, which I loved.
Una mujer muy educada tranquila y respetuosa. Su estadia fue grata y agradable. Recomendada cien por cien.-
Julie has been a great guest!! I recomend her!
Julie lives in a pretty co-housing community situated alongside protected wetlands just outside of Portland proper. Her home is beautiful, warm and welcoming and the community is pleasant and peaceful, alive with edible gardens in the spring and summer months. Julie herself is friendly and super down-to-earth and I can wholeheartedly recommend her home as a lovely place to stay.
