Young professional in Seatte, WA
Had a great stay with Grant in Seattle! Grant has an amazingly located apartment - close to everything you need and want. Just blocks from his place is pine and pike streets - filled with bars, restaurants, coffee shops (gotta get your coffee fix while in Seattle).. And just a short walk (15 mins) to the main area of downtown.. His apartment is also very easy to access via the light rail from the airport ($2.50 or so to ride the light rail then either a 15 min walk or $6 cab to his apartment).. There's a great park right across the street from the apartment too (Cal Anderson park)
About the apartment itself: grant provided clean sheets and a bath towel .. The sofa bed is very comfortable I didn't have any problems falling asleep.. Grant also allows access and use of the kitchen - but with so many great restaurants around you don't really need to use the kitchen but he has everything (plates, silverware etc) if you need.. The bathroom and shower were good too.
Even thought you're in the living room, you have plenty of privacy and your own space..
Overall I had a great experience and grant is the man.. Highly recommend grant and his apartment to anyone - young professional will fit in perfectly
Grant was great!
I travel to Seattle often for work but this time I was in town for a Seahawks game and I needed a place to crash last minute. The location is awesome for Capitol Hill as you're a block away from the park and two blocks from the hip area of Pike and Pine.
This is a pullout coach in the main room. It was very clean as well as the bathroom. I'd definitely stay hear again.
Very easy to find, good location. Lots of restaurants in the area.
Amazing location - Capitol Hill is a happening place and has something for everyone from the ardent hipster to the most adventurous of gourmands. The walk to downtown is also scenic and not too bad. The taxi ride to the Link stations are short and shouldn't cost more than $10 either.
Comfortable space - the pull-out couch and fleece blankets can comfortably fit 2 and if you're a big group, there's plenty of floor space. The kitchen and bathroom are also spacious and clean.
Amenities - there's a laundry room if you really need it as well as an iron and ironing board.
No WiFi - if you need to do some work or research your day's activities, you'll have to go to a cafe (thankfully there are plenty close by) or rely on your smartphone. Not too big a deal unless you really need to grind out late at night.
Amenities - aside from the basic toilet paper and dishwashing liquid, you'll have to bring pretty much everything from hand soap to drinking cups. There are no utensils so stop by the CVS a few blocks down for your basic needs.
Great location, quiet surroundings, well kept space, and very affordable rate make this spot a steal if you're looking for a spot just to crash at night. Grant also knows of the spots to check around town and alerts us to any noteworthy event so make sure you ask him for suggestions!
Perfect location- Grant is really nice and gives you plenty of privacy. I'd definitely stay again:) Thanks!
Nice and polite guy! Hope he enjoyed his stay in the city and home. ;)
