I'm a kindergarten teacher and mother to a truly lovely one year-old. These days, I usually travel with him and my husband, a professional musician and music teacher. In our daily lives, we rely on hulu and delivery sushi, as well as friends who can keep us company after the little one's 7:00 p.m. bedtime.
As guests, we like to be under your radar as much as possible -- we are quiet and want to keep the personal dynamics positive, as we really believe that babies pick up easily on the emotional environment around them. We *do* have a baby, so you *might* hear him, but he generally sleeps well (he sleeps with us, so we generally hear and soothe him pretty quickly when/if he wakes up). When we have overnight guests in our home, they have commented on how surprised they were not to hear him. Our schedule is typically up and about pretty early, then settled down for the night by 7ish.
