I'm a teacher and mother to a threeyear-old. These days, I usually travel with him and my husband, a professional musician and music teacher. In our daily lives, we rely on hulu and delivery sushi, as well as friends who can keep us company after the little one's 8:00 p.m. bedtime.
As guests, we like to be under your radar as much as possible -- we are quiet and want to keep the personal dynamics positive, as we really believe that kids pick up easily on the emotional environment around them. We *do* have a child, so you *might* hear him, but we are good about setting limits for his safety and our sanity. Guests and strangers tend to agree that he is well-behaved and quite the character, if he's not too shy to talk to you! Our schedule is typically up and about pretty early, then settled down for the night by 8ish. If we're traveling without the little one, which happens on rare occasions, we may enjoy a later night, but we still go to bed early and get up early (new habits die hard, I guess)!
