Place is fine. A little weird that we were asked not to talk to anyone in the hall. Also felt weird that at check in the host had another guy there for "protection"
This place is very clean and very convenient. It is close to a subway stop and close to many attractions of NYC. Paul is very friendly and responsive to the any requests that we have. However, due to its location, it is very noisy at night. The stree we are on is full of resturants and bars. It is a very popular hang out for people who enjoys night life. If you are looking for a quite place so you can rest well at night, you may not want to stay here.
The area of the apartment was great. It was smaller than like it looks in the pictures but the description is real. The bedroom by the street side is really noise, the other one not. Ok for 4 people.
The host was very nice and made sure all sorted out.
The location is fantastic.
Even though I was out 90% of the time I had a great stay at Pauls apartment. It was well equipped and centrally located in East Village. There are alot of bars and restaurants on the street so it is a busy and safe area..... and close to the subway!
The apartment was clean and Paul was great to deal with. Would definitely recommend his place.
Apartment was in great area and in great condition. The host, Paul, was very nice and very good in communication! The space is limited, but then again, it's located in a super trendy area, we spent most of our time outside.
The apartment was conveniently located, clean, safe, quiet, affordable, and very small. It was exactly what my group needed, but it can't be understated how comically small this apartment is. Use it for a base of operations and don't really plan to do anything but sleep there. Do that and you will be happy!
The host was pretty welcoming. Toed the right line between making sure we had everything and intruding. The place definitely can't hold more than 5 people but the location is great, the place is clean and at least for me the price was right.
We did not get to meet Paul personally, but he helped coordinate everything over the phone.
The place is smaller than what the pictures might suggest, but that wasn't a problem for our group of 6. It was cozy.
The neighborhood is lively, and there are a lot of people always around. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants and subway stations nearby.
One of my friends accidentally broke a shoe drawer, but Paul was very accommodating of the entire situation.
Overall, our group had a great experience staying here.
