Great guest! Nadya was very friendly, communicative, responsible and polite. She took great care of the apartment and when she left it was clean and tidy. I really hope to host her again in Florence and I strongly recommend Nadya as guest. 5 stars! A perfect AirBnB experience
Based on my experience hosting her, I cannot recommend Nadya as a guest. She broke my house rule: "The flat should be respected and left in the same condition as it is found. This means you are required to clean after yourself."
It began well, however. Our email communication was smooth. Her two profile reviews highlighted her cleanliness so I felt reassured. My family and I went away on a 2-week holiday. I had photo documentation of how the flat was left clean prior to Nadya's check-in. Prior to arriving, she confirmed by email to have read our house rules and manual. Upon arrival, she phoned me to check in. I asked if the flat was clean. She confirmed: "Yes, it is clean". I then received no calls or emails from her during the week of her stay. She checked out around midday on the same day that I returned. Our respective flight schedules did not permit us to meet in person.
That afternoon, I returned from holidays together with my wife and my 2-year old son. The flat we returned to was not clean at all. A basic tidying had taken place, but: the toilet bowl was stained with excrement and blood (as under
the toilet seat), with flies buzzing round; there were red wine stains on
our terrace table; we found cigarette stubs on our terrace and an empty,
but dirty ashtray; our dining table was left with breadcrumbs and cup
marks; there was a large stain on our guest room mattress; our two bathroom
sinks, plus the bath tub and shower niche were not cleaned; and the floors
were neither properly vacuum cleaned nor mopped. We then discovered these damages: a broken toilet (email hidden) hole in a living room wall, and a missing page from a wall calendar. None of which Nadya had reported to me in advance. We were shocked and I felt my home had been violated by careless behavior. The only positive thing was that Nadya had cared to wash sheets and towels upon departure plus a most rudimentary tidying.
She phoned me the same evening. I expressed my clear dissatisfaction with teh way she had left the flat. She claimed that she had left it in the same state as she had found it. I asked, if so, why she did not say so during our check-in call upon her arrival (where she said: “The flat is clean”). Besides, I had photo documentation of how the flat was left clean prior to her arrival.
I then filed a report against the security deposit with Airbnb's Trust and Safety Team, which provided me a €93 refund against the security deposit to cover cleaning and damages.
Nadya is your DREAM GUEST! I have never had such a great guest. She kept the apt. extremely clean, and on the top of that, she arranged beautiful flowers all over the place. In short, she left it much nicer than it was in the beginning! I very very strongly recommend her, if she books with you, you are a luck host!
Nadya stayed in my flat with her mum for 10 days, they were very respectful and tidy. Her mum even took care of my plants and I must say she made a miracle with them! Nadya is also very nice and kind, I would racommend her as a host!
