Lorna was communicative (very good point) and versatile. She change is minde for the check in 3 time including once in the morning of his arrival. I did my best to satisfy his demands although officially in my ad towels and wifi are not included. She clame for hight level of maintenance.
I highly recommend this traveler who is very easy to communicate and respectful of your apartment!
Lorna was a great guest. I hope she can come againg to visit us.
Lorna is a wonderful guest! We hope she returns soon and often!
Lorna was initially pleasant, but a high maintenance person. Lorna and her husband both have POOR Communication skills- with us and each other. She did not Text me with her e.t.a. Arrival time- as I requested & had texted/emailed her, asking. My husband received them upon their arrival, I arrived 15 min. after to meet and greet, and answer any questions. They did not verbalize any concerns or questions, and seemed to like our property and their Ohana. Her 75 year old husband seemed unaware of what our property and set up was- not sure if she didn't share our many, many photos and lengthy description of Exactly what to expect (ie. their private bathroom is detached, and 20 paces across the deck- which is Very Clearly stated on our Ad, accompanied by several photos of layout- yet - AFTER her stay here she posted a complaint about it (being detached, and across deck). We are very transparent and communicative of what to expect here and strive to cater well to our guests- by providing Fresh cut fruit, Homemade Breads, juice, coffee, tea, shampoo and body wash, linens- and have taken great measure for comfort.- I guess her Husband was upset that he wasn't part of the Booking/decision process. We offered them a late check out, because they did wait a short bit to check in (our prior guests departed late)- So I sat out in backyard with Lorna and her husband- making Extra Effort on my part to help Lorna Navigate her new I-Pad, and sharing local information of where to dine, etc. and generally entertaining them. They only stayed here for a couple of nights. The morning of their departure she asked for a later check-out- like 3pm.-I figured since they had to wait when they Arrived- I could repay their inconvenience and help them out. (check out is normally Noon, I said 2:30-3 was ok ONLY for him to hang out in Backyard- BUT that I would need Ohana unit Access, she said no problem....that she would be gone all day at a painting class. (I explained that I needed to clean and prepare it for next guest, she was fine)- she didn't communicate to him clearly though- because she was gone & he thought he could stay INSIDE Ohana until 2:30 & got Angry when I said, at 1:30 that I needed access to get it Ready....that compromise I surely later regretted -Apparently he thought check out was 2pm., because he was surprised when I said it was normally Noon.....and I said her and I discussed times) I tried to re-pay their arrival inconvenience by allowing them to remain in The Backyard, on the property grounds way past check out- for free......so we'd be fair and even- only they didn't see it that way (I guess they thought that it would be OK if THEY made our next arriving Guests have to Wait and be Delayed too?? !....that makes no sense! Negative people and frustrating experience...
Lorna and Charles were fabulous guests. Gracious, respectful and delightful. Highly recommended to any other host.
