Trust me when I say, you need to rent this apartment! It is a gorgeous property, and has all of the amenities you need. The location is extremely central, just footsteps away from Campo de Fiori! I spent a week traveling around Italy using airbnb the entire time and Diego's apartment was hands down the best one I stayed in. Diego and his friends were extremely nice and his recommendations were extremely helpful!
Great location, loved the courtyard! Very cool artistic apartment, three levels. Kitchen had everything we need, washing machine and dish washer. King bed downstairs and one twin in the loft. One bathroom. Diego was very friendly and helpful, even supplied us with milk, apple juice, bananas and bread for our breakfast!
Diego was an excellent host and the apartment was absolutely unique and amazing! Would most certainly stay there again, as well as recommend it.
Staying in one Rome's last medieval courtyards was quite an experience, and the apartment is full of books and pottery, a real delight. Diego was a most helpful and discreet host.
Absolutely beautiful place in a great location of campo de friori. Diego was on point with his communication and even though we did not meet on the first day he dropped by to check on us in the duration of our stay. The place is very nicely decorated and really has an italian taste to it. Superb stay!
ci siamo trovati molto bene a casa di Diego : casa perfetta per 3 persone, pulita, organizzata e centralissima. credo proprio che ci torneremo al più presto !
Diego è gentile e molto disponibile oltre che simpatico . hasta pronto !
We spent four nights in this lovely apartment and we would definitely stay there again when we go back to Rome. We did not meet Diego but the lady looking after the house, Giovanna gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the house. The location is perfect, just a couple minutes away from Campo de Fiori, but it is also away from the noise and crowd. So much that in the mornings we did not hear anything apart from the church bells. The kitchen and bathroom are good and useful. The most I liked about this house is since it is a house that has life experience rather than a show flat, there is not a single thing you cannot find in the house (except maybe some fmcg products such as soap, napkins, extra toilet paper etc but hey nothing is perfect and there are supermarkets close by). On our second night we had a problem with the boiler which lasted until the morning of the next day and Diego could not be there since he was out of Rome, but he was very helpful and responded all our texts and calls. The neighbours were especially helpful and tried to make us comfortable until the problem was fixed. Overall we were very pleased with this house.
Staying in this cozy, three-level flat made us feel like we had a true home in Rome. The bedroom on the first floor has a spacious king-sized bed and the only TV in the place, but we never bothered to turn it on. The kitchen/living room area (where we spent most of our time relaxing/cooking when not out sightseeing) is on the mid-level and opens onto a plant-filled balcony perched over the cobblestone courtyard. Although not roomy enough to sit out on, it was fun to stand out there to wave at the occasional tourists who drifted in and out to see the picturesque exterior. On the top level is a small loft with a single-sized bed great for a late-day nap – or a spot to lie and daydream. The neighborhood of Campo de’ Fiori is über-cool and pretty much has all the restaurants and shops you want very close by. The only hiccup was the appearance the first two nights of an after-hours club (Club Conspiracy) directly opposite the apartment that stayed open ’til 5:30 in the morning with very loud revelers. However, this was quickly resolved by our host Diego when he managed to get the joint shut down. Not sure if it will remain closed, so best to check beforehand if noise might be an issue. All in all, a terrific and unique home base for exploring the monumental glories of Rome, and a very accessible and helpful host in Diego!
The apartment is beautifully furnished and is located in the heart of the historical centre of Rome, in a small square that is hidden away from the masses of tourists. A jewel that I highly recommend! Diego is very kind and very reliable!
