Thanks for having us at your cute and cozy cottage. We love the wood-burning stove.
We look forward to staying there again!
Tracey was very flexible accommodated our dates. We loved the cabin itself, the Queen Street vibe and the simple, but comfortable set-up. The location is amazing, right on the edge of the woods, just like in the fairy tales.

Tracey was awesome. Answered all my questions and gave me detailed answers in a prompt way. The cabin itself is secluded enough that you won't see a person but close enough that you can get into town in a few minutes if you need anything. The day bed upstairs perched by the window feels like something out of a movie. It's simple but the perfect spot to relax, read...sleep! There's awesome trails outside your door and in winter snow shoes are provided, which was my first time snow-shoeing, loved it.
The cabin is rustic but with some serious vintage style, you instantly feel the love Tracey has put into it. It is by far the best cabin I've ever been to, to date.
I was there in the winter and will go back again, I can't imagine how great it is in the summer. Hard place not to love!
This was our second time staying & it was such as lovely as we remembered it being. The cabin is beautifully built and decorated, has everything you could want, and Tracey is an excellent host who makes you feel right at home. The trails surrounding the cabin are gorgeous this time of year, the trees covered in snow and perfect for snowshoeing. And of course the warm wood stove is the perfect thing to come back to. Perfect for creative/artistic souls looking for a peaceful and inspiring retreat from the city.
Tracey and Todd lived up to the superhost hype, won't be disappointed from beginning to end. Tracey was so helpful during our correspondence and gave us all the vital info we needed to ensure safe travel as well as an amazing stay.
Upon arrival we were greeted by this beautiful couple who made us feel relaxed instantly which is great when you want to escape the city stress. They offered to help bring our stuff in, had the fire going and a list of things we could help ourselves too like deer chilli, eggs and coffee COME ON!!!
If that wasn't enough the place from the moment we saw it, we knew this would be our home away from home. All the details, the reading material, the property and surrounding nature with sooooooo much privacy, you just can't imagine.Tracey had a map of the trails as well as a folder of info about the surrounding areas, maps, sights, including wood stove instructions which i really appreciated. She really leaves you feeling equipped but also to be free as a bird. Even though the cabin is so tastefully done(super talented lady and Todd too!) there's nothing fussy about it, it makes you want to get cozy and REAL!
I'm so happy to have found this posting and Tracey happens to own two businesses that i love, Black Market and Public Butter. With that said this truly is a magical place with two AMAZING hosts who are pretty COOL and ATTRACTIVE, i look forward to getting to know each other better with our future visits.
BTW if your a creative person this place will bring out your flow and it will just burst out of you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for an artist retreat! Phil and i went into some serious cosmic zones with our music, while looking out into the snowy abyss of covered trees, that we plan on booking a week in the summer to record an album(watch out Sonic Youth).
You will enjoy all the trails, stars and much more, that this heaven has to offer. We can't wait to experience all the seasons in this cabin.MANY THANKS for these two for sharing this space with all of us!
PS: Our dog Rosie was in doggy heaven!
PSS: This is my dream home
Everything was as we expected, met with Todd who gave us the lay of the land. After a hectic few months this cozy cabin was a perfect place to un-wind and relaxed. Loved how well decorated and equiped the place was too, lots of interesting knick-knacks and a great selection of reading material if you forget yours. I can't wait to come back.
Very lovely cabin, we like it very much! Thanks Todd and Tracey:) I think if it was in the summer, our stay can be even better since it was raining when we were there. However, we had a good time.
We had such a great stay at Tracey's unique and cozy cabin.
Todd was great showing us the basic functions of the cabin and it had all the basic necessities to make a great getaway. The surrounding trails were so peaceful and enjoyable and it was great to spend a bit of time in nature away from everything. We especially loved curling up in the reading nook next the the window, great when the sun was shining but also equally as great when the rain was falling out over the wilderness. We had a throughly enjoyable experience!
Todd and Tracey are great hosts. Tracey was away during our visit, but she made sure we felt welcomed and well informed well before our arrival. Todd welcomed us, and was incredibly helpful showing us local trails, things to do, and the way into town. The cabin is beautiful. It's peaceful and secluded, and a breath of fresh air (literally) for some quick R&R from the city. The cabin is an inspiration for interior design, all the furnishings and decor made the space so unique and gave the place so much character. It's well stocked for your stay, the fresh eggs and pancake mix were a great touch.
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
