Steve's place was as advertised and on a quiet side street outside of Indianapolis. It's about a really quick walk (1 block away) from the bus stop which will take you right to downtown in about 10 minutes. This is perfect for anyone who is attending any conventions but wants to stay in a quieter neighborhood/house!
We had a great time at the Healing Inn. Steve was the perfect host. In addition to being wonderfully hospitable, he took extra time to share his passion and knowledge about fossils and crystals with my daughter. He turned her stay into a great vacation memory. The location is very convenient to downtown Indy and the pancakes are tops.
Steve is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!! Nice, clean room, close to downtown, perfect.
Steve (email hidden) and very polite, he is willing to help the guest anyway he can.
Steve (email hidden)! He set us up in a room that gave us easy access to the kitchen and bathroom. He told us about a few places in the downtown area where we could eat, and he knows a lot about Indianapolis in general. The breakfast was great! We had multigrain waffles with Indiana syrup, scrambled eggs, and blueberries and peaches. Overall a good time!
This was an awesome stay.
I enjoyed staying there, Steve (email hidden), he got everything covered!
I couldn't have had a better time. Steve was the quintessential host; he was accommodating, kind, respectful, and approachable. The pancakes were incredible, and his crystal collection was unlike anything I've ever seen. I'd recommend him to anybody who was staying in Indianapolis; hands down one of the best traveling experiences I've had.
Steve is a charming and pleasant host and his house is comfy and calming and a great value. It's quiet at night and peaceful and cozy during the day. I had some complicated travel arrangements and Steve was very accommodating and gave me a lot of good advice about the area. At the same time, he went about his business so I didn't feel the need to be "on" and communicative all day.
The room was small, cozy and smelled great. The place is small so the quarters are close, but I agree with the other commenter, the house is quiet and I found this easy to manage (and I'm a light sleeper). The healthy breakfast in the morning, at a time of my choosing, really tipped the scales from this place being fine to it being excellent. It really helped make my flyby trip to Indianapolis welcoming and a joy.
Steave was great company, very generous, very polite. Makes awesome pancakes and waffles, and can make them to go if you're on a tight schedule.
I stayed in the back room, which is still wonderful- very comfy bed, a fan, a ionizer and a bunch of other stuff, a excercise machine and plenty of space.
All in all, a wonderful experience. I'm definitely planning on staying here again!
