The apartment was great. everything that I expected from the pictures and then some. Sage has an amazing literary collection, and good taste in beer! The fridge was stocked and a note was left for us to eat/drink whatever we wanted. I only drank the PBR...but there were lots of choices. Great location, with lots of things to do nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
Cozy, cute studio does describe this apartment. It reminded me very much of the studio I had when I lived in San Francisco many years ago. Having a well stocked kitchen sure beats a hotel room any day. If the mornings had been warmer, we would have had coffee and breakfast on the patio, but San Francisco in November wasn't quite right for that. We had no problems with noise from the street or neighbors, so we slept well on the comfortable bed. We were visiting family who live near Golden Gate Park, and this was a great location just blocks away.
Sage had a wonderful apartment. Extremely well located in San Francisco, and she was kind enough to leave me a bottle of wine and candy upon my arrival. The apartment is very well equipped and was clean. This was a great experience!
We spent 9 nights in Sage's totally charming studio apartment. Sage was completely on it with communication, totally generous with her space, and check-in was super simple. The location for visiting San Francisco cannot be beat. Considered the geographic center of the city, the Panhandle is a block away. We spent a number of days meandering Golden Gate Park and the De Young Museum, but also got to the Opera, a rock concert, Chinatown and beaches, never more than 25 minutes away, with easy public transport available for it all. Met the neighbors once, who were very warm and welcoming, and looked forward to returning to "our" cozy nest at night. One warning: if you use a car, parking becomes an interesting game of strategy in NOPA. Be prepared to relax and spend some time (and read all signs!) when it comes to finding a space. Otherwise, enjoy the perfect location, and with-it hostess. Mark and Kimberley
It felt like home away from home! A super cute place in a lovely location. Sage was a super prompt with any questions and was a wonderful host, even from afar. After we booked our stay, she gave a ton of useful neighborhood info and awesome restaurant recommendations. (Nopalito's ceviche is a must try!) Our only issue was that the walls were thin and you can hear the neighbors, but overall, we loved this place. We highly recommend staying here!
Sage's apartment is so charming! And Sage did a great job of recommending great spots to check out. I think this location is better for a single person and not ideal for a couple. And unfortunately, there was quite a bit of neighbor noise that kept us from sleeping well. But it's San Francisco! There are too many things to see and do to sleep anyway!
Sage is an excellent host and great communicator. Any questions I had, she would get back to me asap.
The apartment is super cute and comfy. The bus stop is across the street so it makes for easy getting around.
I would definitely stay at Sage's place again!
Sage was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Communication was swift and check-in seamless.
The apartment itself is great and ideally located for a three day stop in San Fran. It's cosy, clean and beautifully decorated with lovely quirk and charm.
Sage was kind enough to provide a list of restaurants, cafes and bar suggestions in the area which was really helpful. The few we tried where excellent, especially Magnolia on the cnr of Haight and Mason. It's a five min walk from the apartment and serves delicious local beers and burgers.
We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Sage and her delightful home to anyone looking to stay in San Francisco.
Sage's apartment was nice with convenient access to the bus and nearby restaurants. The kitchen was well stoked and the patio was a nice touch. Street parking can be tricky, especially in the evenings, but that seems to be the norm in SF. Sage was easy to deal with and quick in her replies over e-mail. We would be happy to stay again.
