We had a great stay at Natasha's place. Her home is inviting and clean. The neighbourhood is great for walking and there are some great restaurants and cafes close by. Communication with Natasha was easy, making for a stress free visit.
Natasha's place was a great place for my two week stay in Winnipeg. Bus access was 1/2 a block away to anywhere in the city. She has a very nice little place that was very clean and comfortable. Natasha met me when I arrived, gave me a run down on her place and lots of good tips for restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets. Highly recommended.
Natasha's space was bright and airy, with a very well-appointed kitchen, and was located in the IDEAL spot. We walked to Osborne Village and ate at Baked Expectations, walked to the Forks and took in a play, and of course walked over to Sherbrooke for breads and breakfasts at Stella's and Vegan burgers at Boon's.
We had our car with us, and didn't have any trouble parking nearby - but it was Easter weekend, so the "max. 2 hours" during business hours rule was voided. I wouldn't advise anyone else to take a vehicle, but we did, and it was fine.
Natasha was very pleasant. She welcomed us warmly and talked through her house rules, and drew us a quick local street map to highlight places of interest and help us get oriented. I would definitely look up Natasha again if I were going to Winnipeg.
The apartment was really nice. Good vibe, very clean, kitchen with all the amenities, comfortable furniture. I found the location to be convenient for my needs. Two supermarkets and other services were about 12-15 minutes away by foot. I only saw Natasha when I first arrived, and she was very friendly.
Even though I (sadly) didn't get to meet Natasha, she was nevertheless a great host. Picking up a key was very easy, and she contacted me to make sure everything was in order. Her apartment was absolutely wonderful. A thoughtful and well-appointed apartment that was super comfortable, clean, bright, and a perfect home base for visiting Winnipeg. There is great food and coffee nearby, buslines are close and easy to navigate, and it's a perfect central location to get to the many neighbourhoods of Winnipeg. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I come back to the city! And if you're a coffee geek like me, you'll be happy to know that she has a V60 too. Thank you Natasha, for providing sanctuary in your beautiful home!
Natasha's apartment was GREAT! It is spacious and her place is more charming than her photos suggest! I found the location to be perfect, located on a beautiful mature tree lined street with character Victorian homes, there was also the added bonus of an outdoor skating rink across the street! Natasha is a formidable host, especially willing to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.
She clearly has much affinity for good living & comfort - and does this creatively. Her home has artistic energy & has the affect of inspiration.
She is a thoughtful host. Clear & concise - as well as helpful & respectful.
If you're lucky - you'll experience places as good as hers in this big place we call the Earth. Sanctuary.
Natasha was a wonderful host. She went out of her way to meet me on Christamas Eve (not exactly the best time to travel). The apartment was very nice and cozy and in a good location in Winnipeg. Everything was fantastic and I would definitely recommend staying there!
Natasha was only there when I arrived, since she is letting the whole apartment (which has a distinct and artistic touch to it - I loved it). Natasha is very friendly and her recommendations for food and what to see and do were great - so I felt almost like an "insider" and enjoyed my time in Winnipeg a lot.
Natasha rented my place for a coworker (Sean) who was renting it for a guest. And he passed me off to another coworker (Danielle) to coordinate...
Natasha was very prompt with her reply and super friendly. I found it a bit difficult to navigate who I was working with and Danielle and Sean were a bit vague on details and didn't always get back to me promptly.
The Guest left a mess but I can't blame that on Natasha.
I would rent to Natasha any time as she always wrote back promptly and was very nice. I did meet her in person once and got along with her very well.
