My husband and I spent a wonderful month at Grace Water's converted and modernized miner's cabin. The view from up on the mountain was fantastic and the surrounding roads and mountain trails were a thrill. Everything was provided and nicely decorated and Sean and Evan were quick to respond to any questions that we had.
Loved sitting out on the patio reading in the sun. The porch provided a wonderful view and shelter from the sun as well. A thoroughly
We had a wonderful stay at the Lookout! It's such a cute place, and it was easy to get downtown. Sean was lovely and very informative. I look forward to returning to bisbee, and I will definitely stay at the Lookout again!
Nice place and a great town. Evan and Sean were very helpful. Its a cozy place, but had everything we needed for 3-week stay (we cooked most meals) and was about a 15 minute walk to the Copper Queen Hotel and Brewery Gulch. We had a great time!
My latest trip to Bisbee was so much fun. The Lookout was the perfect place for me. I loved the walk downtown and it was very convenient to the start of the Bisbee 1000 Stairclimb. The cabin was clean and well kept with just the right amount of eclectic-ness(?) You can expect eclectic when you are in Bisbee. Grace and her people were very nice and accommodating. I will definitely check to see if the Lookout is available next time. Thank you!
We just loved our stay in Bisbee and enjoyed the cozy little love nest on the hill. We'll let you know next time we are in town. Thanks.
I stayed for a week at this wonderful cabin in Bisbee. The location is private and affords a great view of the lovely town and an amazing "buzzard show" every evening when the buzzards are circling over and getting ready to bed down for the night on the opposite hillside. The hosts provided coffee, and the kitchen was well equipped, so that we could cook a number of meals, and not have to dine out all week. When questions arose, the hosts always replied promptly, but were never intrusive. We also did some hikes right from the cabin up onto the trails in the hills up above. I would highly recommend "The Lookout." We had a pleasant and restful stay!
This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! I am sorry we only had 2 nights to stay. We definitely plan to go back. The cabin had everything you need and much more: a fully equipped kitchen, a charcoal grill outside on the stone patio, wine glasses, and a very comfy bed after a busy day in Bisbee.
This restored miner's cabin was a delightful place to spend 10 days. The owners, Evan and Sean, have done a great job of bringing it up to modern standards, while retaining the flavour of its past life. It has an amazingly well stocked kitchen, a great front porch to sit out in the morning sun, barbeque, nice large shower, a comfortable living and dining area and an overall great atmosphere. The hosts were very attentive when we asked for a couple of extra things - they showed up almost immediately. We loved both this cabin and Bisbee, and would return for sure.
A romantic getaway in wonderful little town off the beaten path. Bisbee might just be the prettiest little town in Arizona.
The Lookout is a charming, excellently remodelled place. It Rests about 1/2 mile outside of the edge of downtown and perched perfectly above for a great view (see pics). My Wife and I spent 3 days there and were perfectly content with what the 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, FULL KITCHEN and spacious living room had to offer.
Evan Waters (owner / operator) was very accessible and attentive to our needs. He sincerely was interested in us having an excellent, enjoyable and relaxing time.
The Kitchen was stocked full of goodies: Pots, Pans, Plates, Cups, Corkscrew...everything to stay in a cook. A Drip Coffee Maker along with a full bag of Starbucks Dark Roast, Scone and Banana Bread were waiting for us when we entered:)
There is a CD Player with an Aux jack for your Ipod for some music.
There is a 27inch (or so) LCD TV with Satellite TV and Blu-Ray / DVD Player for watching movies.
The Bedroom has a Queen size bed and a dresser. The bed / mattress is not comfortable (old and springy) and the linens and comforter could be updated to be as shiek and clean as the rest of the house...but overall, the room is adequate.
The Bathroom is clean and bright with a skylight...and plenty of fresh towels, cloths, ammenities, etc.
Thank You for letting us use the place.
We enjoyed our time there.
I would recommend this place...nice work!
