I am a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. I love to write stories, be outdoors, hang out with friends, etc...
I am making my first trip to New York City on the 24th of September. I will be meeting my boyfriend there, he lives in Rome, Italy, this will be his first trip to America (and to New York) We are looking for a room with at least a full size bed, (although a queen size would be nicer) our budget for a room is $500 or less for the week of 9-24 / 10-2 for a private room. we both smoke, but do not need a smoking room, but a patio, balcony or rooftop would be ideal (instead of having to go all the way outside)
This is my first time using this site to book a room (mainly because I never go anywhere) and I am not really sure how it works, exactly, but I am learning that some people do not wish to rent their rooms, as I have had no response from several of them.
I have found several rooms close to The Broadway School of Dance (which is where my boyfriend will be studying for the week of our trip ( He teaches Hip Hop in Rome )
The room does not have to be right inside the city. we will be walking, taking cabs, buses, trains, etc.. I will be driving up, and will need some type of parking for my car while we are there (We are both driving back to Memphis, for him to meet my friends and family and to spend my 41st birthday with me on October 6, before he flies back to Rome.
we both have the typical things that we would like to see while in the city, Empire State Building, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, etc... but we would love some tips from real New Yorkers that can point us in the right direction for other things to see and do while there.
I look forward to finding the perfect room for us and the perfect host for our trip. I hope it's you!
Have a wonderful day... and greetings and salutations from Memphis!
