Hi . . . . I'm a global citizen. Have lived in Boston, Jakarta and China. Currently residing in Singapore.

At first communication was fast and good, just 5 days before my planned arrival. But after that a few replies went unanswered and only on the day of arrival did I get my telephone all answered. I did not even have an apartment number, only a building address until then. In that call, Stephanie told me the building address would be different also. Getting in the building was also difficult because the intercom didn't work well. I would recommend this place if the logistics are well-established in advance.
Stephanie's place is quite comfortable, and she was a gracious hostess. Her apartment has a pretty great view onto the city, and it's in a quiet neighborhood that is nonetheless a short walk to Newton Station, which is itself close to the central city. I'd book the room again if I land up in Singapore again.
Steph was really easygoing and nice to chat with. The place was very conveniently located right smack in the middle of downtown and is 10 mins walking distance from Newton MRT. The place is well maintained and a very cute cat.

It was a very comfortable room to stay. and Stephanie is friendly enough as a host. You won't experience any stress.
The room itself vas very nice. The single bed was clean an comfortable. The appartment offered everything I needed for my short stay. There's even a great view towards the skyline of Singapore from the room and balcony of Stephanie's place.
The location is close to the next MRT station (5 minutes to walk) which allows to get downtown quite fast. For the way back I mostly took a cab, which is not very expensive from downtown.
There's a airconditioning-system in the room, which is very important. During the nights it was still very hot and humid, and the road next to the building was noisy. The aircon works pretty well.
I didn't have much chance to chat with Stephanie, but she seemed to be a very likeable person. She was able to answer the questions I had and gave me a welcomed (email hidden).
I would say this is one of the easiest and most straightforward places to stay through AirBnB in Singapore. If you value convenience in terms of location you can hardly do any better--less than 10 minutes walk to the Newton MRT which was critical for me. No need to hassle with cabs. You can also easily get to the Orchard Road strip of super-malls, and there's a hawker food place near the MRT [although it's unfortunately seafood-focused].
The room, bed, bathroom and such were all fine. Aircon was not quite as powerful as I'd like but it was fine after a few minutes. Be aware that there is a resident cat, quite cute and friendly but not good if you have allergies.
The place is tidy and close to Newton metro station. It is a very good residential area, and you feel safe walking on the street even during midnight. The host and her helper are very helpful, but they also leave the guest with enough personal space to enjoy their own time. I would recommend this place to all of my friends.
