I was born on 29th April, 1976 in Budapest. I saw nothing but spots (upside down and dim). In a few weeks’ I learnt to see. The environement around me started to have contours.
I grew up in a middle-class family in a block of flats in the South of Buda. My parents provided me with all the possibilities for my development. At the age of 8 I was enrolled for solmization. At the end of the school-year the teacher denied my mother knowing me. I didn’t attend classes. I preferred other things.
At a young age I was prescribed to wear glasses. We didn’t take them out. My vision has been fine ever since.
My mother was brought up in the countryside. She is the only bookkeeper with human attitude. My father was brought up in the city. He is an electric engineer. He always asked me if my homework was ready. Now I know it was for my sake. My sister is a teacher.
During my primary and secondary school years between 1984 and 1994 I attended the sculpture faculty of the Nádasdy Kálmán art school, where Károly Ócsai was my master. Master Ócsai provided me his way of looking at things, which I couldn’t understand at that time. I have been living on it ever since. I would be glad if he saw that I understand it now.
Between 1990 and 1994 I attended the Kempelen Farkas secondary grammar school. I didn’t get much. This way I was getting more motivated to search for success.
In 1994 and 1995 I applied for the sculpture faculty of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. I knew what I didn’t want to do but I couldn’t see what I wanted. I wasn’t admitted. They were right.
In 1998 I was admitted to the industrial design faculty of the Hungarian University of Applied Arts. I didn’t attend classes. I was seen as a good-for-nothing person by my professors. I worked day and night, so I learnt day and night.
In 2005 I graduated in industrial design and in 2006 I obtained my degree in design management.
Since 1999 I have worked as an art director. In my current employment at Sylva Advertising Agency I have been art director for six and a half years. My mission is to let people know in a way they have never been able to see.
Since 2003 I have been painting. My mission is to let people see as they have never been able to.
