I love traveling, living a healthy lifestyle ( with an occasional hiccup), skateboarding, gardening, little dogs, yoga, coffee, cross fit, art and music. I really enjoy living in Portland and hosting travelers in this quirky, unique city.

The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. We contacted Jocelyn last minute and she was able to make arrangements for us to stay at the house while she was out of town. It all worked out really well. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.
The place was cozy, hip and clean. My husband is already planning a trip back in the summer to skate.
This was my first time staying in Portland and my first time using Air BnB. Both experiences were awesome. Jocelyn was a great host and her place was just what I wanted cool, fun and in a great location. I never got to meet her personally since I was keeping late hours but she checked in with me via messages and email. She even recommended a great vegan food place close to her house. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.
We never met Jocelyn, but she was friendly and easy to contact if we had any issues (which we didn't). The house is cute and unique, and fit the description well. Great first experience from Airbnb!

Experiences like this are why you use Airbnb! Jocelyn and Ted were the best kind of hosts- friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. The basement apartment is cool and cozy. It has cool posters all over, TV, couch, etc. The house is close to the St. John's neighborhood where there are no tourists and great places to eat / drink. Stay here!
Our experience with Jocelyn & Ted was outstanding..! This was our first time using Air BnB so we were a little intimidated but also open to trying new ways to travel and stay. It worked perfect we happened to arrive when our hostess was home, briefly introduced ourselves, loaded our stuff into our living space, and she showed us all around and carried on with our adventures the rest of the day. The dogs are a little barky, but so what dogs bark all around these neighborhoods.
We had the most fun the second day when we decided to set out with our hostess for a night of plans, jazz fest, drinking and more fun! Jocelyn was nice enough to show us around town, drive us to the jazz fest and we even went out for a few drinks to finish up our night. We brought our hosts some coffee from Vail and she made us the MOST OUTSTANDING CUP OF COFFEE WE HAD THE ENTIRE TIME IN PORTLAND: Jocelyn's Bulletproof blend, be sure to ask for a cup with your stay. The basement space was all we needed to relax and sleep, we spent very little time down there, used it for quick cool offs and a place to sleep. The showers and bathroom were super tidy, clean and welcoming - I will stay in touch with Jocelyn & Ted and plan to visit them again when we trip to Portland next..!! 5/5 stars for these guys friends forever after our first Air BnB experience - we only wish we had more time to spend with Jocelyn + Ted and their gang of super awesome friends... so welcoming, the only way to see portland and St. Johns is with some charming locals..!!

Jocelyn had an amazing place and really cool backyard. Loved the ramp.
We had a relaxing stay at Jocelyn's. The space is very clean and comfortable. I knew I picked the right host when I saw a Banksy print in the sitting area and a Matisse in the bedroom. The St. John's area has a really quaint downtown with yummy food and cafes. The street it's on is very quiet too. She was very accommodating, and answered any questions I had. This was my first time staying in a attached space, and I was very happy we stayed here. You have a private entrance to the basement. I'm on graveyard shift sleep schedule so we never got to meet in person, we were sleeping as their day was starting. You can hear footsteps above you, but it's not bothersome at all. I liked the idea of staying outside of downtown Portland and it's not a far drive.
