Ulla's apartment was clean, bright and cozy for our family of three. We especially liked the full sized kitchen and even though, we didn't do any cooking, there was a gas stove, oven, and full sized fridge. The washer was a god send because we could conveniently do our laundry in the evenings, saving precious time for sight seeing. The neighbourhood was very safe, although it was a bit sketchy right of the train station where it blends into the meatpacking district. There were plenty of clean towels, linens, and little knick-knacks creating a very homey feeling. The apartment is beside Ulla's so it didn't have the clutter typical of other airbnb rentals where the owner also lives in the suite. Ulla was away when we there and entrusted our arrival to a friend. Key hand off was smooth and we were settled in quite nicely. Two things to note: the shower stall is built into the kitchen and you need to brush your teeth/wash your face in the kitchen sink. Aside from the less-than-ideal washroom situation, we took this in stride and soaked it up as an authentic Danish experience. Thanks Ulla for opening your nice apartment to guests around the world. We certainly got a slice of Copenhagen life.
Ulla's apartment was a very nice place to be. The neighborhood was vivid, with cafes, shops and restaurants. Walking to the interesting places is possible and the busses are near.
The apartment was adequate for the three of us.
Thank you Ulla for being there.
Apartment is good located and clean. Not so far from central station (15-20min walking).
The apartment was clean and cozy and had fast wifi. Good location in Vesterbro close to restaurants, bars, shopping, etc., and easy to get to from the Central Station. Ulla was friendly and communicative -- my friend and I really enjoyed our stay here in Copenhagen!
We stayed a long weekend at Ulla's apartment and were very satisfied. The apartment is big enough for four people, so we had more than enough space since we were with three. Make sure you don't have a weak heart though, cause climbing the stairs to the 5th floor where the apartment is located really takes quite some energy. Ulla was very helpful with finding a place to park the car outside paying zones and finding bike rentals nearby. Always swift communication and very friendly. Thanks Ulla!
We (me and mom) had a very nice stay in this apartment! It was clean and simple, we have nothing to complain about. (We noticed that the stairs can be a problem if you travel with really heavy luggage, but luckily we did not :) Ulla was very helpful with storing our luggage and the key arrangement was great, thank you Ulla.
We had a really nice stay at Ulla's apartment! It´s clean and well located. We would definitely recommend it.

I just returned from a work week in Copenhagen where I stayed at Ulla's shared apartment. It's really two apartments where the separating wall has been removed so there is a shared hallway with each unit at either end. I met Ulla the day after I arrived as we were both busy. She is an incredibly accommodating and gracious host—giving all the information and assistance that I needed, but never imposing herself on me. That is, she's the perfect roommate: separate but super nice and helpful.
My biggest concerns with most Air BnBs are cleanliness and the comfort of the bed. Ulla's apartment is stylishly sparse, clean and the bed (a futon with additional foam and wool pads) was VERY comfortable. I had the expected jet lag and was able to sleep/wake/sleep/read for 10 hours in bed a couple nights in total comfort.
The pictures describe the amenities. There is a small but functional shower in the kitchen with plenty of hot water. And, yes, there are two separate toilet closets in the hallway so you have your private commode.
Ulla has set the price of her unit so low that I wondered how it would play out in reality. My take: it's sparse but stylish and functional. The amenities are simple, but comfortable. It's on the top floors, so there are many stairs to the unit—but I enjoyed the walk up at the end of the day before bed. I would stay here again on a future visit to Copenhagen.
Many thanks, Ulla!
