TJ Is a very nice guy, and great with (website hidden) is pretty much as pictured, and in a good location. Good place if you don't need anything too fancy. There aren't any chairs, basically just the bed, some nice speakers and a small kitchen and bathroom. Closet space is limited. Easy to get there and get in.
TJ has a really cute little place off Castro and Market. I was in a pinch for timing and finding a place to stay. I will most definitely reach out to him when in need of a place to stay again.
I quite enjoyed my stay at TJ's little studio. It is up a steep hill from the very busy intersection of Castro & Market streets. The apartment is ideal if you are planning on using it only for sleeping (there is no chairs, couch or TV). It is on a very quiet street with no noise at night. Although there is plenty of parking in the neighborhood, there are very stringent parking hours (only 2 hours & you must move your car or get a $60 ticket). I ended up leaving my car with my daughter to park in her neighborhood, where parking hours were dramatically more (website hidden) (email hidden) & was very generous in letting me check out quite late on my last day (I had a red-eye flight at 11:45pm to Florida). He did have a CD player in his studio with some very nice personalized mix-tapes, which were very mellow & soothing. I enjoyed my stay & would stay at TJ's again if I were visiting SF.
Great location up the hill from the Castro MUNI stop. Basic studio in a converted garage. It served my purposes well on a weekend where everything was booked up.
I never met the host byt he was very responsive via AirBnB & text message.
My boyfriend and I stayed at TJ's house for 3 nights on a recent visit to San Francisco. It is a small unit with a very comfortable bed that is nicely decorated with candles and exotic souvenirs. It is a great stay for one or two people and is in a perfect location near the fun area of Castro. We could also walk to fisherman's warf and other tourist attractions and could easily catch a bus when our feet got (website hidden) was easy to contact- we arranged everything through SMS and he left clean towels for us. Overall i would recommend this place especially if you are from out of town and are in SF purely to explore the city.
