I was born in Rome and lived in US for 30 years.
I work for a University in US, am pretty conservative in tastes an preferences, like arts and outdoor trips.
I would like to say here what a pleasure it was to stay at Amalia's. I always felt that I was very secure locked behind a high wall. It was quiet and very comfortable. I loved Maria, I wish that I was able to speak Italian to get to know her better. We did have an interpreter on site but it's not the same as being able to speak. Anyway, it was a great stay and I would do it again in a second.
