My family and I love to travel. I play music and I am semi retired now, which has allowed me to Homeschool my 3 girls and spend time with them.
My being a mom is one of the most important things in the whole world to me. And giving my kids a sense that the world is not a scary place is important. They need to see and explore different cultures and ideas so they can be open to new things. My family consists of my husband, myself, 3 girls (18,15,10) and my mom.
I love the words of Mahtma Ghandi "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." I have been close to death and it has made me want to live my life to the fullest and enjoy the time I have with my loved ones. And living life to the fullest is done best with grace, compassion, and consideration of others.
Me as a guest: I would respect your home as if it were my own and I would treat it accordingly. My children are very respectful, and this is a quality we encourage. We consider you opening your home to us as an honor and a matter of trust between us. I have rented from HomeAway several times, before finding Airbnb :), and I normally leave a place as clean or cleaner than when I arrived, because I appreciate your time and effort to rent to us. And we are Texans, which means we believe in being upfront and friendly. We can't wait to meet those of you who will greet us when we arrive and hopefully we will come away with a friendship. And maybe one day we can open our doors to you!
