We are a retired couple who love meeting new people
Grahame and Ann were very welcoming and friendly. Their home was comfortable and cozy and guests have access to several areas outside of the private room. I enjoyed both breakfast and conversation on the patio. Great location within walking distance to the beach.
Superb hosts, Ann and Grahame, welcomed us, were attentive to every small detail. We felt so well cared for and so comfortable.
The silence was so nourishing and the divinely decorated room with multiple small details including a coffee machine in our room for coffee in bed! And Ann brought fresh cream too!
Breakfast by the pool was full, delicous and equisite!
Don't forget to ask about the French Butter dish story!
Highly recommend staying in this Gem of a place !
Port Burwell was a great town to visit. Friday evening we had dinner & ice cream at some local restraunts. Nan's nook was a great resting place, close to Lake Erie. Great Experience.
We had a warm welcome from Grahame and the hospitality continued throughout our 3 night stay. Very quiet neighbourhood, GREAT breakfasts, relaxing pool, lots of space to relax and enjoy the charming century home with many original features.
The bed was very comfortable. A ceiling fan kept it comfortable even though it was very hot outside. Grahame and Ann are very interesting people that are very involved in their community. We planning on coming back to see the comedy that their community theatre, called Periscope Playhouse, is putting on in September.
We would not hesitate to return to Port Burwell and stay with Grahame and Ann in the future. Enjoyed it very much.
We booked two rooms and stayed with Ann and graham this weekend. Super nice couple makes us feel like home there. The location is perfect, and we even got up @ 5 for the sunrise. They served best home made breakfast by the pool.
Host was exceptionally inviting as he/they were unable to be home at my arrival time . They contacted me and were very apologetic..they were very friendly . I had a lovely stay with them! Food was wonderful! Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Swimming pool was clean and well kept.
No complaints from me..
Staying with Grahame and Ann was like a lovely summer cottage visit with your favorite aunt and uncle! They were easy to communicate with, and their gracious welcome made us feel at home immediately. Even our little pup was impressed by the hostess skills of Grahame and Ann's dog, Lacy, who promptly took Oso on a personal house tour!
The location was excellent for stretching our legs after a long day of driving, and Grahame's breakfast by the pool raises the bar for other b and b's!
We were graciously greeted by Ann, who showed us our room and the layout of facilitates to which we had access. We greatly enjoyed meeting with Ann and Graham at breakfast and sharing stories. They were a wonderful resource for local activities and politics. It was hard to leave! and we hope that we can come back soon.
We just spent a lovely weekend at Nan's Nook. Our hosts were wonderful. It would be easy to get used to breakfast by the pool every morning!
