I'm born and bred in the UK but left for sunnier shores 6 years ago when I moved to Australia.
I think the world we live in is so diverse and vibrant so I am keen to experience as much of it as I can; I have been lucky in that regard and managed to see quiet a bit of the world throught my work as a television Line Producer. After four years soaking up the Australian sun I decided to swap the Bondi Beaches for the Concrete Jungle and moved to New York City where I now live.
I am a tidy soul who likes to create a home vibe, whether it be a bunch of flowers or a scented candle. I grew up with cats and dogs so am animal friendly - however do get a little freaked out by insects!
I am a self confessed flash packer, i've never had a back pack but do love the excitment of a new city and places. I've been fortunate to dine at some amazing restaurants with my job so always like trying new places - it doesn't have to be fancy, just somewhere with a good atmosphere that serves food cooked with love.
I used to be a ballet dancer so love music and dancing, I believe music is a great accompanyment to life and can change a mood in a minute.
Whenever I travel I always have my camera, a pair of good walking shoes, a pair of going out shoes and some good old English Breakfast tea bags as a good cuppa is always the best way to start the day!
I'm very personable and like to meet new people and experience new things. I think a night in with a good book or dvd is just as good as a night out. My favourite shows are ones that make me laugh and my favourite movies are ones that make me think of things from another perspective. I can't limit my music and movie preferences into any particular genre - only how they make me feel.
I would look for a host to be open, friendly and keen to share their home with another.
My life motto is that you don't need eyes to see, you need vision.
